I used to be a Christian, and then an atheist, and then a believer in God. I have have seen ALL angles of religion. The outcome? A question: Did God created us or did we created God?

I am a true believer of God and I have full faith in him. Definitely God is the ruler of the whole world and all GOD is one. We have given different names to the GOD according to our wishes. Earlier people used to worship nature as GOD because they thought that this is the ultimate power. But gradually man has become selfish and created caste, religion and creeds. So, we can say that we want to take his place that is why we try to create him and want to prove our GOD as the best.

I know everyone would have different views about this subject. so here's mine. As a Catholic, I believe that God created us. Just look at our bodies. Who or what else can make this wonder? Who gave us a brain for us to think with our minds, a body to work out and all. I guess it is just a matter of FAITH. and I have faith in God and his wonders. It may seem like we created him because anyone could have just made him up through our minds but my question is, who created our minds? GOD.

The Bible is clear on that. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Then on that same book it was stated how the 6 day creation happened. On the 6th day the first man and woman were created. Anything about creation of man only the book of Genesis can answer. Of course it is God who created us nevertheless men also have a way of creating their own god. Those are however not true God but rather false gods which God do hate.

Hi, dear.:) Interesting question.;) God, in science, does not exist. Men are seeking for the origins of the universe as well as men or of everything under the sun and above it.Science doesn't consider the existence of GOD. Religion is telling us exactly the opposite for it claims that God is the Alpha and Omega. I have little knowledge of both Science and religion thus, I really can not fathom the answer for this question, too.:( However, when things are beyond the comprehension of human mind and logic which relies on scientific theories, we say they are miracles, and those are the works of God. My stand? Since there's a greater power out there which is beyond ours, then I must say we are created by that GREATER POWER, and that is ultimately God's power.:)

@Jupitercrashing. Do we really pretend that God exist? I don't pretend that He does exist because I do believe that. Because despite of the advancement of man, things keep changing, thus, men keeps on searching for an answer. So who is holding the steering wheel?

damned_dle: No, it isn't. "I don't know" is actually the only correct answer. Attributing things we don't understand to god is no different than the ancient greeks attributing weather patterns to their gods. As we learn more and more, the need for humans to pretend god exists becomes less and less.

When science can't solve it, God is the only answer.

God is the creator of everything, then people are free to worship who believe there is a lot of religions and gods, and this is because God allows free will. There are many cultures that have created their own gods, but for me there is only one god, and is the creator of the universe.

hi damned, definitely God created us. He created Earth and the galaxy and instal Man on Earth subsequently. Would Man have such super abilities to create this mammoth structure? Definitely there is an OmniPotent, a Divine Being, who can create and even plan what Earth and its inhabitants have become. Man perhaps "created" the Concept of God as evidenced by his own personal experiences and all that he has seen through the many centuries.

This, it think, will always be a neverending question without a definite answer. Of course, since I am a Catholic, in a Catholic's point of view, God created us. But still, as a human being, sometimes I wonder how did God create man, and where did God came from.

For my own personal belief, the previous one is mysteriously correct. I said mysteriously correct because GOD itself is full of mystery, a lots of puzzle and maze that man can not explained. There are lots of facts in our world, in the universe, that man can not explain, cannot proved, and just a mere theoritical explanation. Let's take for example: the theory of the evolution of man.. It is said that man comes from the ape or monkey. As the year, decade, centuries past, it eventually evolved to as we called it man. The questions: How come a man came from ape or monkey when even now there is still an ape or monkey exists? Are these apes or monkeys that still existing now are proved to be exempted on the evolution of man? Why such these apes and monkeys are still existing today? Well, out of my curiosity, I'm sorry for these questions. But I think if we accept the reality of our simplicity by not thinking ourselves as GODS, I think there's no need to explore the answers of these I called MYSTERIOUS QUESTIONS..
