What do you do or where do you go to enjoy the weekends ?

Hello myLotters. The work weeks can be very stressful and exhausting some times. I would keep looking forward for the weekend to come. "Thank God, it is Friday ! " That's the day I keep looking forward to ! The weekend is the time to relax and enjoy, getting rid of the stresses of the week. I often go to the cultural centers or the amusement parks for relaxation. How about you ? What do you do or where do you go to enjoy the weekends ?

it all depends on the weather and the budget. we have a four year old son and as much as possible i want to bring him out every sunday at the park to run around or at the mall on playrooms to meet other kids and play. if the budget allow we eat out to give break to my wife on thinking the whole week on what to cook and break also on cooking. if e stay home then that would mean BBQ or hot congee depends on the weather or sometimes call up for delivery of pizza. it all depends on the mood, the budget and the weather.

Weather conditions keep changing every day, even every hours some times. If the weather permits, it would be nice to go out to the park, and enjoy the refreshing environment. When the weather is not that favorable, I get stuck in the house too.

before when we dont have a child yet, even when it rains we are out. sometimes i ride my bike and my wife is there at my back then we ride around getting wet from the rain and having a good time. so we enjoy the raining and the not raining as well har har har. but now that we have a son, we dont go out when it rains we dont like him to catch a cold or cough or fever.

For myself I used to "party" on the weekends, meaning I would get drunk,even if it was by myself. Not good. So I quit that and started to take hikes, go to the pool or beach, go sledding or skating in the winter. Also we have game night on sundays where we each pick a board game. On Saturday nights we usually stay in and watch a movie and have some snacks. I think this is was more enjoyable then when I was partying.

Sure, that would be more enjoyable. If the weathet permits, I very much like going out to the park, go jogging, or just sit down at a nice spot in the park and relaxing. On Saturday nights, I enjoy watching my favorite game shows and musical shows too.

you're right the whole working week is very stressful. during weekends i usually spend quality time in church activities and family. but aside from that i sometimes go out with my boyfriend, have a stroll at the mall, eat the most delicious food and a venti of starbucks frapuccino. that relaxes me so much! im also planning of out-of-town activities too during long weekend holidays. happy mylotting!

During long weekends, if the weather if favorable, it would be nice to drive out to the country-side and enjoy the refreshing environmants. I do that too once in a while. One can also enjoy lunches at the country restaurants which serve a variety of delicious foods.

i work during weekends at night and i sleep or just stay at home by day. during my rest days though i go out if i feel like to. just ride a taxi and stop wherever i see some nice place to sit, eat and drink a little then go home..
but im still looking forward to every weekends i spend in our office. no bosses, eat anywhere or go anywhere while it's my working time, and yes.. sleep for as long as i want..

That sounds very good ! You are veru fortunate to have a nice job. You have the freedom to manage your time. Yeah, going around to different places of interest, and spending the time at favorite places would be very enjoyable. There are many beautiful places in the city !

Yes, I'm too. Friday is a comfortable working day. Because I know that I'll be off tomorrow. It's great! I usually gather my sisters and brothers to cook together.Of course I'll go out with my sweetheart on night :) Or go to the cinema or supermarket with my friends.

That sounds very enjoyable, getting together with brothers and sisters, and friends. Must be ver nice to enjoy favorite delicious meals ! My colleagues at work also like to take turns inviting colleagues to their homes, and enjoy cooking and eating favorites.

Yeah "Thank God it's Friday!" I really look forward to Fridays since the tiring week is almost over. I usually spend my weekends if not at home curling up with a good book or surfing the net, I would probably be in parks or movie houses alone to get that feeling o tranquility after a long and tiring week.

Spending some time at the park would be very refreshing, isn't it ? There is a park near my house, and if the weather is favorable, I spend hours there in the weekends, strolling around and enjoying the surrounding. That's very relaxing and refreshing.

Yeah, that would be nice too. Watching favorite movies right at home on the TV could be very enjoyable and relaxing too. I used to be a movie addict before going to movies theatres, atleast three times a week. But, these days one can watch movies at home.

After a long stressful week, it is good to relax having enough sleep. I do that too some times, especially on Saturdays, to get rid of the stresses suffered during the week.
