Someone on here or maybe even several mylot members mentioned it. Either way I finally got all the ingredients in the house at one time. I got a thumbs up from my girls & even hubby who can be hard to please with something new. Even better something to make with the occasional cabbage besides apple slaw. So thank you to whomever it was who posted about it! And do you have any other recipes just as delicious?

A friend of mine at work long, long ago made pancit and lympia for us. I liked both very much, but especially the lympia. :D

Do you mean the spring rolls? I think it's lumpia.

hi 3snugglebunnies we have stuffed cabbage here all the time and its so good with hamburger and rice and onion stuffing, love the stuff really. They only do a few really good things here and thats one of them and plain old coleslaw. love the stuff too. They also do a g reat eggplant parmesan thats truly delicious.

I think when I made stuffed cabbage last year it bombed and I just ended up making it as a skillet instead of trying to fold the leaves up all fancy. The family won't really eat coleslaw. I doubt they'd eat eggplant though I've diced it up and hidden it in stir fry's.

I love pancit, but seldom do I ever have it. I think that it is delicious.

I do not know what pancit is, so I guess I get to go do a search. It is fun to share new food ideas while we have discussions.

I had no idea what it was either until some myLotters were talking about it and I looked it up. This is the version I made though I had to substitute the noodles.

I love your way of thinking! Though I say something similar about hubby as I won't show him something new he likes because he ends up making it better than I did... well not every time BUT darn it I want to be better at him at something! *LOL*
