This program is designed for a target weight loss of 10-17 lbs per week. It will also improve your attitudes and emotions because of its cleansing systematic effects. The effectiveness of this seven day plan is that the food eaten burn more calories than they give to the body in caloric value. This plan can be used as often as you like without any fear of complications. It is designed to flush your system of impurities and give you a feeling of well being. After seven days you will begin to feel lighter because you will be lighter by at least 10 lbs. You will have an abundance of energy and an improved disposition. During the first seven days you must abstain from all alcohol You must drink 10 glasses of water each day. *DAY ONE All fruits except bananas. Your first day will consist of the fruits you want. It is strongly suggested that you consume lots of melons the first day. Especially watermelon and a loupe. Any amount, any quantity. No bananas yet. No potatoes today. *DAY FOUR Bananas and milk. Today you will eat as many as eight bananas and drink three glasses of milk. This will be combined with a special soup which may be eaten in limited quantities. *DAY FIVE Today is feast day. You will eat beef and potatoes. Each two 10 oz. portions of lean beef. Let's just set one thing straight, there's no such thing as a 'miracle diet', if there was there would not be a weight problem in this country or anywhere else. This is NOW AY to lose weight, weight loss needs to be gradulai ( 1 -2 lbs a week) and obtained by healthy eating. I actually have my own diet website and am trained in nutrition and dietary matters, my 'Oldchem Diet' helps you to lose weight because you will be cutting down the total amount of energy from the foods that you eat, but you will not be left hungry. It isn't boring - in fact, it is pure and simply healthy eating (with the odd treat allowed of course!!) It will not involve meal replacement shakes or bars, eating a couple of bowls of breakfast cereal a day or drinking cabbage soup until you resemble the Incredible Hulk. This is a diet designed to fit into any lifestyle, that can be used with your family and that won't cost you an arm or leg!! On this diet your healthy eating will mean that you will be providing your body with just the right amounts of all the necessary nutrients and enough energy required by your body to lose weight or to maintain a healthy weight, as well as aiding the development of your physical, mental and emotional health. This diet works because it incorporates the different groups of healthy foods, all of which provide different types of nutrients that are essential for your body. With this Diet, you do not count calories or points just simply eat a certain amount of each food groups a day, the amount depends which target group you are in

Yep, it does work - this is the General Motors diet. More like a fast, but not quite. These fad diets DO work - the hard part is just STICKING to them. And it also won't be a long-term weight loss. I guess this diet is usually prescribed to obese people who are having surgery - they are put on this diet so they can drop some weight quickly. I haven't tried this, mainly because I don't generally do fad diets, and plus I'm a vegetarian - and with this "diet", you HAVE to follow the rules exactly as they are (this is what they say - or it's not going to work), and I don't eat beef - so this wouldn't work. But anyway, why not give it a go if you're curious if it works? The cabbage soup diet also works. Essentially these diets are just depriving you of calories, hard-core, and that's why you end up losing weight. But it's a lot harder than it sounds to actually stick to it.

I really love to share this that's why I posted it here and started a discussion. I'm a vegetarian so I think I don't have to try all of this. A friends of mine asked me to post it here so that he can read about it and try it out. So, it's here now.

Have you tried this diet? Can you only eat the soup on Banana day, or can you eat it throughout the week. The recipe seems like it would make a whole lot of soup if you only have one day to eat it. I'll give it a try. It seems like you really wouldn't have to starve yourself, maybe just get tired of fruits and veggies.
