How can an individual check the wrong-doing by majority in their surrounding?

When collective thoughts and actions threaten national destruction and degeneration,it is beyond the power of the individual to check it;this is even more true when it has reached the ultimate limit and about to break into catastrophe. When majority of people indulge in corruption,bribery,unethical conduct,terrorism,anti-social activities and religious/communal/racial fundamentalism and violence,how can individuals in their little sphere of activity check the wrong-doing in their surroundings? The cumulative influences of wrongs done by many produces national and international tensions and leads to catastrophe. Is it beyond the power of the individual to check it?

At this point you must find the way in which it is easiest for you as an individual to make your thoughts and feelings known. Write it or speak it or draw it but be sure your feelings are put forth in some way. I think if we take care of our own little corner of the world that is a good start.

Thanks for nicely responding and sharing your views. The impact of a person's thoughts and action at individual level to transform the wrong-doings and destructive attitude and practices of majority of people,on a mass scale is negligible.The world is leading to imminent catastrophe for the irresponsible and selfish behavior and attitude of people to exploit and control others around, driven by religious and racial radicalism and intolerance. Individual action and thoughts need to be more powerful and transformational,cutting across religious,racial and national differences. I appreciate your views.

Each of us can only do what we can. But if enough of us do just a little bit it will grow and grow. The major thing is not to give in to the negative energy. I know that pain and suffering are often all around, but the person who comes and spreads just a little good will can work wonders. Don't try to change the world, just make sure that what you are doing is going the right way. A sip os water or crust of bread given in good will overcome evil, it starts small and grows slowly
even over many years but it does grow.

I greatly appreciate your views. But it is unfortunate that enough of us do either follow the the path of majority/mass mentality or remain fully complacent of the wrong doing of the majority. An individual action or message get covered by or dissolved in the strong cumulative forces of larger segment of wrong-doers. The world is getting more and more unsafe,unhealthy and stressful,as the voice of an righteous individual is hardly felt creating little or no impact. Thanks for responding.
