when i joined mylot first thing i did was to respond to a discussion by clicking the comment button, i don't know whose post was that because i did not knew how to start a discussion, then i scanned through sites i found at top left covering my screen width start new discussion, from there i got to know how can we post. From there i found interested in posting than commenting. on what are you interested here posting discussion, commenting on discussion or doing task.

I much prefer responding to discussions. I enjoy it more than actually beginning discussions. It's a personal preference.

I like responding to posts rather than starting one because I need not to come up with a new topic that would be interesting enough that many would respond to. It would be easier for me to respond to other discussions because all I need to do is to find a discussion that interests me or something that I can relate to and then I respond to it easily. That's it. Best of luck

yes, i like responding to discussions, by doing so i get to earn a little money while having the freedom to express my opinions and interact with my fellow mylot users. besides, it's easier to respond to discussions that to post my own blog but i'm hoping to publish my blog in here very soon. :)

Reading the postings by myLotters is always very interesting. Different subject matters, different interests, different opinions. I devote as much time as I can to respond to the postings to be in touch with friends and the community. Not too often, but when I have some thing which I wish to discuss and have the views from fellow-myLotters, I would place a posting. There again, it is very interesting and impressive to have the different views about the topic.

I didn't really know if my lot give some points for responding to a post. After knowing that I tried to give respond to some discussion that suit me. Frankly speaking, it's lil bit difficult for me to start some discussion topics. But it really helps me improve my writing skill.

I would prefer responding to topics. As of now, I don't feel like starting a discussion... maybe next time. HAHA! I like responding to discussions rather than creating a discussion, because most of the time... I don't comment on their response. Happy Mylotting to al of you!

I like to respond to posts as it's less hassle lol but when I make a thread I can also repond to the responses if needed.

I don't know but it seems like everytime I join a message board (which is pretty rare these days) I tend to respond more to discussions than post topics. Because Mylot is popular and on top of news and what's going on in the world, I feel that a topic on a given subject might have been started. I do/don't mind starting discussions, but it's rare. I like responding to topics that catch my interest. It's always fun to see what others write about.

in my opinion it is alot easier and time savvy to comment and to respond o comments...lol... but i think it is more rewarding to post something and be the start of a sensible discussion among the members=) i guess it is easy to just respond and to comment but it is rewarding to create a new discussion=)

It depends really on the mood. When I'm into 'talking' mood, I end up just start to type discussions away. But it's mostly responding to topics. I think it's easier to respond because you just need to 'react' instead of introduce topics.

Most of the time, it is just much easier to respond to topics. I can throw together a lot of quality responses in a short amount of time. Maybe not high quality, but fairly decent. It really does take a bit more thought to constantly come up with fresh topics but I do in fact do that from time to time. Topics will come but for the most part, I just throw in responses. It is something that goes a bit smoother a lot of the time. So some topics, but many responses, that seems to be a nice solid balance.
