Of course I do. Science hasn't explained everything. And most of the things that we think science has explained, it really hasn't. Take for example gravity. No one knows what it is. But we say it's why things don't float away. Most of what passes for science today is just acting like you have the answers when you really don't.

@ Jupitercrashing: wow that was beautifully said.. Why do you have that sort on notion for going on hating people who believe in God? It is their belief so let it be. I am a believer too and i don't think there is any option either to choose religion or science, i mean just choosing one of the two. We use science to understand things analytically and religion is totally different. To choose to believe or not is up to you, and respect others for their choice. There is no reason for thinking less about them. I would have said the same thing had i been an atheist. Okay, so science text books only say there is force of attraction between two masses that is directly proportional to their mass and inversely proportional to the distance between them. Why actually is their an attraction between masses?

Hello jupitercrashing, i was only teasing you, lol. Hmmm.. Honestly, you don't really need to worry about humanity. I mean, it is ok if you follow a religion but that isn't necessary that it makes us any different. Okay i understand this all God thing is crap for you but it isn't the same for others and you should not begin discriminating people who do. We are not going to end the world. And for the terrorist and people who do wrong in the name of God, they are only wrongly lead by clever people into follow terrorism. Religion is no excuse for terrorism, but the terrorists are actually foul minded in themselves.

No, I do not, and I automatically think less of people who do. Of course, considering I went to Catholic school my whole life, I do have friends who belong to religion and I know it is very possible to be intelligent in most areas of life and still be religious. However, it is obvious that those who believe in god either do not have the intelligence or motivation to question why they believe in such fairy tales, and the drive to learn and be knowledgable is a very important quality to me. I am truly scared by the hold that religion still has over people in this modern world. Whether a religious believer is an extremist or a moderate, they pose a severe threat to the continuation and advancement of humanity.

Hiya chelseafan, Believe in God yes but although I was brought up in one Church I had to marry in another but that has not changed my original beliefs anyway. I have my own beliefs I think we all do. Science has not got the answer to everything yet at least I hope not.

I always believe in God and His Existence. I don't believe the explanation of science instead I follow and obey on what the Bible stated.

How completely and utterly illogical. If you do not believe science, then why are you using a computer? Why are you no doubt sitting in a modern house, with modern luxuries that science has provided? Why do you use modern medicine to treat your illnesses instead of assuming a demon has possessed you and performing an exorcism? Do you kill all non-believers that you come across, because that's what god tells you to do in the bible (Deuteronomy 13:6-11)? I shouldn't keep you though, it's probably time you perform a ritual sacrifice of an animal or your own child like god tells you he wants you to in the bible.

Yes I do. God is the Supreme Being, the Almighty. It is not science who provided explanations, but the experts or intellectual people who uses Science to provide facts about things around us. Science is define as the organized body of knowledge that is derived from such observations and that can be verified or tested by further investigation. God gave us gift of knowledge for us to use meaningfully and that is science. Science is from the Latin word "scientia" means knowledge.

I was raised in a Christian family and I believed in God even without seeing him. I've experienced his presence in my life a lot of times.., and I never questioned his existence even when I am so down.., I am aware how science try to contradict with what is written in The Bible.., and I am not close minded.., but those scientific explanation., never made my faith in God falter a bit..=)
