software to manage our daily activities

hi friends ... sometimes we get so busy in our life that we cant even get sufficient time to plans things properly. I feel , if we can properly plan things we can finish our work in lesser time and i think for this some times we should take the help of technology. i want a software to manage our daily to do list. anyone here knows about such software? any such software exists? if so please give link. thank you.
