I have bought several gifts from E-Bay, they have a reliable service, and most people there are trustworthy. Shipping could be a hassle, but mostly not a large problem depending where you live. What shirt were you looking at? I buy my "special" shirts from "Threadless".

Hiya alilin, E-bay has loads of nice things but I have not bought anything yet. But I do know People that have and they give a very good secure service and the Delivery rate is very good also. They gave me a thumbs up for E-bay.

I am in the United States and there have been many times that I've Ebay without a hitch. However, with your not being in the United States, I'm not sure how well it would work out. That said, I would probably ask the seller if they ship to Uruguay and then go from there when deciding whether or not you should proceed with the transaction. I hope that it all works out in your favor and if you proceed with the transaction that it will go without a hitch.

I made a couple of operations on the Internet, my method of payment was paypal, and have received the services contracted, it was not anything physical. Only once you make a purchase of a package I received in my house, but the intermediary was my country. I've never done an operation on ebay. If I used the free market, along the way at the time we bought a dog, but considering the reputation of the user, as this person lived in my city, I attended personally and for the deal.

Through the internet, yes, but through ebay, I haven't tried. I've heard it's a legitimate site and my friends used to purchase from there while they were in the US. If your local customs / delivery does not have any problems, then I guess it's safe to order at Ebay.

Yes bought and sold on E bay and other sites. Moslty it works very well but it is best to open a paypal account as this give you some protection if things do go wrong and it is much easier to transfer money across borders. They just do it for you.

Yes, I have bought quite a few things from ebay in the past and I also have a seller's account on ebay although I have only sold one item to date! I think that ebay is a great place to buy things from but one thing I would definitely say is, don't buy from anyone that doesn't have a 100 per cent positive rating! When a seller has a 100 per cent positive rating this virtually guarantees that they are reliable as a seller and will give you excellent service. I have a one hundred per cent rating myself and I like the fact that ebay has a rating service. I have to admit that I've never purchased an item of clothing from ebay but that's not to say that I wouldn't! I have mainly been focusing my efforts on small electrical items like torches and cameras etc. Check out some of the feedback that sellers have been receiving on ebay! This will give you a good indication of how satisfied customers have been with the level of service that they have received. Andrew

before you shop online especially on ebay, you have to make sure that the seller is a reliable one and is already an old member.Iam a buyer and a seller on ebay and I have also experienced being scammed by new members.but i guess ebay members in the US can be trusted and they are very strict regarding scammers.

Ok - I accept there is a lot of coincidence going around here. I start typing this and I get a set of Bic Mechanical Pencils which I ordered from eBay about a week back. It had to be shipped from Malaysia. Ok - so I sit here, admiring the mechanical pencils. And, then, the bell rings again, I get the calculator I ordered from Hong Kong. SO, I earned about $150 or so, about 3 months back and I spent it all now buying books and some articles.

Yes but it has been a while. They have an updated EULA from 9/7/2010. I'm still verified and have a rating attached: http://myworld.ebay.com/digitalcoach I'd suggest that you check the Shipping & Handling options for Uruguay and specific feedback of sellers that have a history of sending there. Shoping by internet is a new way of bought things appeared recent years. You can get all sort of things conveniencely and quickly, and the price of commidity is always lower than those in supermaket or shop. Most of my friend now buy sorts of commidities like books, shoes or clothes online. I also bought a book from it. But there are some shortcomings of shoping online---you can not know the quality of things you would get.For example if you want to bought shoes or something else, you can only know whether it is fit for you.

Sorry but I haven't tried buying through ebay. I think its not complicated buying items in these sites. All you have to do is to pay credit card and nothing more. You'll just to wait the items to be delivered. But I think the items will be charged on its price but the handling fee and shipping fee will cause a headache a lot. But according to my friends out there it still good dealing here in this sites. Remember, exposing your credit card account will take a big risks. It might be hacked by someone or used by someone.

I have been very successful with purchases through Ebay and Amazon. Paypal is the best method of payment for me because they stand behind the purchase. Most of my purchases are within the US. However, as a store owner, be sure you are aware of any charges that may incur with customs in your country. These can be quite expensive and a big surprise if you do not check in advance. If you have any questions, contact the vendor via email and discuss your order with them before you place the order and pay your money. Look for four and five star ratings. Read other customer reviews. Look to see if the vendor has a website or a storefront. These are clues to whether you are dealing with a reputable vendor. If I have doubts, I will contact the vendor by email and ask a question just to get feedback so I can feel comfortable with them. If they are on the up and up, they do not mind talking to you. Also, check out their return policy in case you do not like the product. Who pays postage in the case of a return? Good luck.

Yes I have bought some items such as a book on ebay. The seller was from the same country as mine that's why I didn't pay much for the shipping. As for you, if you order from sellers outside your country, please ask the seller regarding the shipping charges because it might be costly depending on the weight of your item. You should check the seller's reputation as well to check if that seller has satisfied buyers in the past or what not. Be careful in dealing with sellers with zero or negative feedbacks because most of them are just scammers lurking for an interested buyer that they'll fool. The safest way to pay on ebay is to use Paypal because you can file an item dispute if that seller scams you, by that, you can possibly get a refund from Paypal. Best of luck

Hi ya alilin28 I have bought lots of things off of people on Ebay and it is pretty saffe provided you pay through paypal because if you get any problems they can help you sort it out. Also I wouldn't buy anything from someone unless their reputation was 97% and above. Even if it is 97% I would check their feedback and see why they had dropped a few %. Have some idea of how much you want to spend on something and stick to it or else you will end paying more than you wanted to and sometimes more than the item is worth. Good luck and go for it.

Yes I have purchased online before its not as scarry as it seems, its actually pretty easy though you have to shop with extra care on ebay because sometimes the sellar list things that are not as it appears in there listing, but most of the time its fine and fun. I purchased a necklace and some DVDs on ebay but I recommend using paypal for ebay and look closly at the sellers rating, also if you dont have paypal use prepaid credit card. Though my favorite shopping site is Amazon because they have free gift cards available with certain providers and I've had the least amount of dificulty shopping with them.

I had buy on ebay, before you accept to buy something to someone on ebay, you need to read very carefully the requirement of the seller, most of the ebay seller only accept that your paypal account have to be CONFIRMED. You can contact the seller and tell your situation.
