I am going to be frying Chicken today, I would prefer grilled but I don't have a grill anymore What do you have for sides when you fry Chicken at home? I always make mashed potatoes and corn on the cob and salad but I was wondering if anyone knew what else I could for sides? Because I am tired of making the same thing everytime?

How about a potato salad? Some baked beans? mac 'n cheese? pasta salad? cole slaw? There are many choices the only problem is what do people in your house like to eat? and how much time do you have to make all the sides, I know potato salad takes along time to make but if you stop at the grocery store you can buy it @ the deli counter.

I know what you mean. Sometimes it comes out well other times not so much. I know the last time I made it I didn't have any mayo so I used miracle whip instead... Oh well I didn't have money to run for one item so I used what I had. So it was a like it or lump it kinda side dish...

I enjoy baked chicken and usually have corn and a baked potato. Lately, we have been having carrots low in calories and my daughter really likes them. If you are looking for something different you might check what is available in the fresh vegetable section of your grocery store.

Hi, jahernandezrivas. I usually will have some kind of flavored rice that is very yummy. I also may bake some macaroni too. A macaroni salad sounds very delicious with fried chicken, don't you think?

What about baked potatoes or twice baked potatoes. Baked sweet potatoes are good too. I like to have green beans with butter and garlic and they are pretty simple to make.
