The person who is more experienced must have commited more mistakes ,Best people are those who learn from others mistake and take care, this lot is very less ,Second catogory are those who commit mistake and learn from mistake and tries not to repeat mistake and third catogory are those, who never learn and keep on commiting mistake ,myself is combination of first and second catogory ,you belong to which catogory ?

I learned from so many mistakes in life I won't ever or can never do anymore and yes experience does come with mistakes, I guess I would say a combination as well for me but I have learned some mistakes I wish I can't go back and change but the mistakes I did made now I have knowledge of knowing better!! Have a good day.

You're definitely right. The best of the best have committed like a million mistakes and learned from them that's why they are the best at what they do. That's what we should do with our lives, or at least with our minds. We should learn from our mistakes, as the great ones did, and become wiser cuz of them. There's this study from psychology that states that you can model anyone's strategy or mind map. If you can model him/her you can pretty much be as successful as that person is. To model the person, you have to know his/her decision making strategies or how he/she makes decisions. That alone can give you an advantage compared to those that are ignorant and want to do it their way.

My opinion on this matter is "You don't have to commit the same mistakes to become experienced person". One can avoid committing the same mistakes by taking the experience of others and making it his own. I'm on the second category. I like committing my own mistakes and learning from it. But I also try hard to avoid doing the same mistakes as other did.

I belong to the same category as you. I learn from my mistakes and from others' mistakes. Ah, sometimes it just feels so right to be wrong, although I know this is foolish. I try not to repeat my own mistakes. I try to learn from others' mistakes, too. However, I do not worry too much about making mistakes because worrying leads to "analysis paralysis." If something goes wrong, then I just charge it to experience, take away the lesson and then forgive myself.
