Looking for newest migraine treatments

I'm seeking information on the newest types of migraine treatment, whether medicinal or otherwise. I've been using the same migraine medication (Zomig) for many years now, and while it still works, I'm not finding it quite as effective as it used to be. I've tried most of the "triptans" in terms of pharmaceuticals, so I'm looking for something different. What do you take for migraines, or what other non-medicinal or homeopathic treatments do you use? Thank you for your help!

I a word, Cannabis. I have tried many of the Trptan meds myself. Zomig is one that works for me, although it makes me very tired. My doctor gives me samples of Axert so I don't have to buy it. It's very expensive! But if the triptan meds don't Do it, smoking cannabis works every time! It gets rid of the dizziness and sour stomach too!

I tried the nasal spray migraine relief spray several years ago. It worked miraculously! So I decided to go to my Dad's house. I started to feel dizzy just before I got there. I pulled into the driveway and threw-up all over the driveway. Immediately the migraine was back. Evidently, the headache center in the brain is very close to the vomit center. Who knew? Since then, I have been depending on Aleve. I can feel the headache before it hits all the way and usually 2 Aleve are enough to head it off. My migraines seem to be connected to my sinuses because the headache starts behind my nose and eyes and then shoots inward sharply and rapidly. I hope you find a miracle cure that works 100% of the time for you!
