Mary, isn't she lovely?

Today is the 2024th birth anniversary of the Mother Mary, the beautiful Mother of our Lord Jesus. As I look back on my life's journey, there had been no other binding force that got me through the crossroads but the Blessed Mother. And I know that I am privileged to be considered her daughter, too. There had been no prayer that was not granted that I coursed through her. And I just know that God loves me very much because I love His mother very much, too.

So I never really understood Catholicism, and I'm coming from a point of genuinely wanting to know: do you see Mary as a deity? Or as a blessed human? Or something else?

I see the Blessed Mother simply as that, a mother who mediates for all our graces. She loves her Son very deeply and she loves us, too.
