Do you like the new rupee symbol ?

The rupee has achieved teh parity with major currencies such as the dollar, euro, pound sterling & yen in one respect. India's cabinet has approved the adoption of the new symbol after holding a competition that drew more than 3,000 entries, which was evalauted by a deputy governor of Reserve Bank of India as well as artists & designers.
The new symbol, an amalgam of the devnagri script of the hindi language & the roman letter "R" reflects & captures the indian ethos & culture.
What do you think about it, do you like the new rupee symbol ?

Yes i like this new symbol of our currency..when it was not discovered... then we only wrote down rupees.. but now we can use it's symbol.. it is a very nice symbol..
