Hello guys, I remember during my younger days. Watching movies were one of our vices after classes or during holidays. It was our customary ways of bringing some junk foods inside, eating while watching. As what I had observed, not all people were doing that. I was wondering if you too are doing the same with us before. Well, nowadays I am not sure if bringing foods inside the theater is still permitted since I do not watch movie frequently, not like before... Is bringing of junk foods inside still permitted nowadays? I just want to know... Mobhomeir here..

It depends. Sometime my boyfriend and I eat before we go to a movie, sometimes during, and sometimes after, it just all depends on how much money we have, what time the movie is, and if I have free coupons for snacks or not.

In most theaters it is not allowed. They charge so much for the popcorn and stuff that they sell, they would lose a lot of money. Some people still sneak stuff in (myself included). I just don't want to pay those high prices!

Here in the States, we can't bring in food. And the snacks they sell are very expensive.Back in the day , we would get there early and my mom would buy popcorn in the theater, and we would eat it before the movie. these days I go by myself and I don't have popcorn. I usually see the first showing and then after the movie I have lunch.

I don't go to the cinema that often, but whenever I do I always buy popcorn and a drink. It makes the whole thing even nicer, in my opinion, even though sometimes I get so into the movie I forget about the food :P Concerning bringing your own food, I can't really say much about it since I've never really seen anyone here doing it (the only things they brought in were candy and chocolate bars, stuff like that, and there wasn't any problem with it). What I do know is that in many theaters they won't let you bring your own drinks, though.

Yes, they do allow the bringing of food inside the theater only if you buy in their own food/ snack stalls. Malls have them so that they can also profit. In our case, we do not eat inside the theater. It's either we eat before we watch movie or we eat out after watching movie. We find it messy eating inside the movie house. Good day!

I don't know if you mean watching movies in the theater or at home. Either way, I like to have some snacks especially potato chips when I am watching a movie or game. I am one diet now and trying hard to reduce my weight especially some special parts of the body. So, I decided not to buy any snacks or keep them at home. That way I don't eat it even if I have temptaiton to eat.

I love to watch movies and eat. As far as the theater gpes I personally dont go to the cinemas that often, but I do know people that do and they bring in there own drinks, potato chips, candy bars, etc.. They dont permit it in the cinema but they hide it in there bags. Not for nothing now a days the prices in the theather are ridiculous.

I go to the cinema quite often, maybe once or twice a week with my dad (it's a nice father son thing we do), and we often buy things to eat from the snack bar like hot dogs and nachos and occasionally ice cream. Once or twice my dad has taken in a McDonalds or a Burger King, but he had hid it in his pocket, leading me to believe they don't like you doing it. =D

Yes of course your can bring in food to cinema while watching. But the catch is only food sold in the cinema, no outside food is permitted, certain and random shows they will search the bag for outside food and will consficate it. YEs eating while wacthing movie is nice and enjoy the movie more. However, usually light food only is sold in the cinema, nothing like hamburger or fried KFC , pizza is not available.I guess is better , imagine bowel movements during the show will be a hassle.

Hi! I'm a stress eater, that's why I always eat inside the movie theater especially when I'm watching a horror flick! In some places, we are allowed to bring junk food into the theater. However, some movie theaters only allow us to bring in the food that they sell. The prices are so steep. I manage to sneak in some food sometimes.

Hello Mob, If you provide me something to eat then I don’t mind to eat. If I am hungry then I love to get something to eat. How can a hungry person enjoy the movie? In the other case if I have no hunger then I don’t want to eat it at all. In conclusion I don’t eat for enjoyment when watching a movie.

It should be, if I'm not wrong. Last time when I was younger, I used to go for movies. The last movie I watched was Harry Potter. After that, I've stopped going for movies. I've never asked any friend out to go watch movies with me. I don't know why maybe it's my personality.

I doubt bringing food into the movies is allowed. The theater makes the most profit form the concession stands. Without the concessions, the cost of a movie would be $20.

Hi there! I also love watching movies together with my friends. During our college years, almost every Friday, because our class schedule was only from 8am to 11am, we always visited the mall nearby our university. We eat, window shop and watch movie especially when there's a good film in showing then. Watching movies before was not complete without something to eat, i love to bring chips and soft drinks in can so that i could eat while enjoying the movies inside the theater. Even up to now, i am so used in bringing snacks inside the movie house whether it may be pizza, burger, fries or chips plus drinks, then my whole movie experience would be an enjoyable one. Of course, having a companion will be the best part of it not just having something to eat. Yes, bringing junk foods inside the movie house is still permitted nowadays. Good night!

The answer is YES. You can still bring food inside the theater while watching. I do the same stuff like you. It's much more relaxing if you're eating something while watching. What I usually eat while watching a movie is a popcorn and a can of coke plus a burp at the end.LOL! I do it not only in theaters but I also do it even if I'm just home watching tv series. For those who haven't try it, go grab yourself a food and eat while your watching and you'll find out that your gonna like it. =)
