So at what age did you learn to cook, who taught you to cook and of course what dish was the first ever succesful meal you made? :D Share it here with us!! :D if you'd like to share how you cooked it then, that would be great!! We can even try it out ourselves now... :D The first meal i cooked was a chinese dish, it was so easy you only need black beans, ground pork / or beef, soy sauce and some sesame oil! he he my mom taught me to cook it and it was a success! I even made variations to it now and sometimes take out the black beans and replace it with other stuffs, like chili, green peppers... etc...

The first dish i learned to cook is adobo. It's a Filipino dish usually made of pork or chicken (you can actually mix both). It's very easy to make. You just put cuts of pork/chicken in a pan, pour soy sauce and vinegar (according to your taste preference), add black pepper (whole or ground is ok), a little oil, garlic and just cook everything under medium heat. It's that simple. Others add slices of potatoes or boiled chicken/quail eggs. Yum! There are also a lot of variations of this dish, some sautee the meat first with garlic, while others add coconut milk!
