If i have the opportunity to learn how to play the violin, I would grab that opportunity. If you were in my position, do you want to play the violin?

Yes, I wanted to. I am always fascinated by that instrument. I hope I can have one someday and be able to play it. It think it is a cool instrument though I am afraid that I may fail like when I started to play the guitar. But, given a chance I will really wanted to.

Yes Yes Yes, I would love if I have the chance to learn playing the violin. I already know how to play the piano with some certs. It would be a perfect match should I also know how to play the violin. I really like the sounds produced by this magical musical instrument.

When i was in third grade, the music teacher tried to teach the whole class how to play the violin. It was just not the instrument for me. i just couldn't get the hang of it. i love to hear someone play the violin as long as it isn't me.

I want to learn to play any music equipment but I just can't, I'm bad at learning music. I learned to play guitar before but it's just to difficult for me, I think Violin's even more difficult!

When I was a child, I was interested in violin because I thought it was fun to play it. But I didn't play it well at all. When you didn't know how to play a musical instrument, playing the violin was worse than piano because the sound would be horrible. But now I won't study play it any more. My life is busy with work and my family. Besides, I don't have the talent in music. I love China

I will choose guitar or piano over violin.. hehe ^_^ I'm not that interested in violin as it's too gentle for me, in my opinion.. haha =D I like the casual feeling of playing the guitar.. As for piano, i only like the melody coming from it. Violin is good too, just that i dun like that playing posture, andi t's kinda tiring, from what i see.. haha =D

If I got the chance to learn to play the violin I would defininately do it. It is one of the things I would really like to learn. When I was younger I played the piano and the flute, and I like that, but it is one of my dreams to play the violin as well. One of my grandmother's relatives played the violin and he was very good at it. I have never heard him play, but my grandmother has told me a lot about him, maybe that is one of the reason why I have become interested in playing the violin myself.

Now I dont know what position you are in, but if we take it from the position of beeing able to learn to play the violin I would take the opportunity if the teacher have alot of patience and believe that even the person with the worst rythmic sense on the earth can learn it... (read that person is me)

I have never had the opportunity to play the violin, however, I have had the opportunity to play the viola (cousin of the violin only slightly bigger and stringed differently than the violin) from the time that I was in fourth grade until the end of my ninth grade year of high school and then I also took private lessons in college. I really did get a lot out of being in a performing group and also the discipline of learning to play an instrument.

if given the opporunity, i'd certainly grab that! I've always wanted to learn the violin but the instrument is expensive then the lessons are expensive and if I were to take lessons it would just be for summer. I wouldn't really mind self-studying but I procrastinate a lot so I'm sure all I'll know would be the basics and the first verses of songs like how I am with the piano. lol
