Which is better or worse in life? Having a lover(gf/bf/partner)with no friends or great friends with no lover, for you? Why?

I believe it will be better for me to have great friends first, because that way you've got the chance to take one of them as your lover. But it will be terrible if you only have a lover with no friend. Once he / she is gone then you are done!

Girlfriends come and go... Friends will (should) last forever.

Maybe yes, maybe no. But like I told you. Great friend + S means plural. I still have another chance if I fail. So supposed that I could not make it with the first one, then I just simply go with another.

Unless you make her your wife one day? But maybe friends will last longer than that too?

That's really interesting topic! Let's try to pick the best points to answer this question, first which is better in life is this: A. Having a great friends with no lover for the fact that it's really good to feel life each day with some people whom you can laugh and smile with...these are the friends! The Worse thing is : B. Having no friends but with a lover because life would really be silent. And having a lover would never compensate how it feels to be happy with people who would really try to make you laugh despite the huge clouds on your face. I think so...

Thanks for your intricate analysis. But I still can't really choose which is better myself, because I've had good and bad experiences from both lover and friends. Thanks for sharing.

That's a tough question. I think I need both because I have both. Having good friends is great and same thing with having a partner. So, if you can have both then why not, right? Besides, it will make you happy. You can be happy with friends but you can be happier with someone who loves you and accepts you for who you are.. So, I think it's not necessary to choose on the two if you can possibly have them both.

Of course, if you can have both, take both. Glad you have both.

Oh yes, friends and lovers, never mix well together and when the lover is no longer a lover, your friends might end up betraying you and choose your ex.

I would rather have great friends with no lover than one lover and no friends. I am an independent person but I love having friends. If I stick with only one person as my one and only friend (or lover), my life would be dull. I like to learn from friends and share what I learn. When you have great friends, you're already in love, in the platonic sense.

That's a good point. There is love in friends too.

I would rather have great friends with no lover. Boyfriends and girlfriends are like underpants, were always changing them. But true friends last forever, plus any of them could become a lover you never know :)

That's true that your friends can become your lover, but I don't know if friend last forever too for everybody.

I really think that depends on the person and what they about. Each and everybody is different and finds fulfillment in different ways.

Yeah, so the question is asking your opinion.

For me the better one is having a great friend with no lover because with your lover you cant tell them what you can tell your friend. A lover can be with you one day nd leave you the next but a friend is there for you through thick and thin.
