As I was reading newspaper I came across a news which says like this. 'At night around 8 to 8:30 O'clock police got a call from a boy who was shouting "Please help my friend was shot dead. Help! I need help" After getting this sort of call police ran to the address. And found nothing happened and the boy who had called was sitting in front of a T.V. After talking to that boy Inspector discovered that in Tom and Jerry show Jerry was shot by Tom without any reason. The boy didn't like that and thus he called police to rescue. As his teacher in school told them to Dial 100 whenever you see crime or unusual sort of thing.' After hearing all that police thanked that boy for having faith in them. This article show us that police is there for help and we need to co-operate with them. What u think? Happy my lotting

I believe that is not in India, because had it been here, things would have been different for sure. Here the policy of a majority of the Cops is - Let the crime happen... only then we can file a case and make life more miserable for many. And if they ever attended to such a call, the poor child's family would have been in real trouble... paying out some money to stay happy.

Nope Sid, it happen in India. And child's family is happy without any disturbance from police. I know it is very rare case and we are not used to it. My main moto to post this kind of post is to make people aware that there are good policemen too. And I want everybody to read it.

It's good that the police showed up, but too many phone calls like that, and the police might not be so quick to respond.
