The birds are starting to fly South for the winter. If you could fly where would you go? Me, I'd try for New Zealand, I can see it now all green with beautiful coast lines. And since they have just had an earthquake there most likely won't be another big one for a while.

The birds are very intelligent. They know winter is coming before human beings can sense that. I'd like to fly down to New Zealand, but it's too far for me. I cannot fly that far !! I would probably have to be satisfied going down to Brazil, my favorite country for enjoying the winter-time in the northern hemosphere.

Hi savypat, I've always wanted to go to New Zealand as well. It's one of the few countries I'd care to visit and I'm not sure why. Going south for the winter is a big thing for a lot of people as well as the birds. Blessings.

If I can fly, I'd got everywhere in the world. I wish I can, I have dreams of it all the time.

Oh yes, winter is at our doors already. I heard that NZ have lots of earthquakes all the time.....but they sure had a big one now. Id like to go to Tuscany in a small village and just mingle with the Italians...taste the local food, go shopping and rent a villa there. In the meantime, Im getting ready for the coming winter.

When I was on vacation in Australia, I wanted to go to New zealand but changed it at the eleventh hour because of the cold. My sister is there now and has been updating me of how beautiful the country is. Might decide to go there next year.

There is nowhere I would want to go for long but it'd be nice to fly to a warm tropical climate with a beautiful beach. Costa Rica, maybe. I'd love to spend a few days on the beach and get a real tan and play in the water.

Hi pat, now I like to fly to the West. I shall land to your garden. You will give me corn and put your affectionate hand on my head. If I could be a bird how nice it would be. I can fly from country to country. But is the earth now safe for the birds or any animals and even for human being?

I would love to be able to fly! In fact I had a dream once that felt so real. I flew above my bed into the lounge room, reached down, opened the front door and flew outside in the courtyard outside the apartment I used to live in back then. I flew high up in the sky and when I looked down I saw a man walking into the apartment block and I wondered who it was…It was such a fantastic experience; I would love to do it for real and fly somewhere tropical like the Bahamas...

I think that New Zealand would be a wonderful place to be able to fly, however, I don't think that now would be the right time to do it because of the earthquake that they've just experienced. That said, I've never been to Brazil and that is another place that I would really like to visit during my life, so I think this fall I am going to fly to Brazil and see the sights there since it is somewhere that I've neer been.

I'd be headed for Australia somewhere near the coast. I've always been fascinated by the flora and fauna there. Plus, I'd love to be able to see the southern constellations for myself! But I guess, I'll just have to settle for my dreams for now. I've even had dreams of being able to fly! Pretty cool, but not quite like I imagine the real thing would be like! :-)
