As you can see, many people might ditching the redundant expenditures on bottle of water. When you come to think about it, you can always drink tap water; or buy one of those refillable bottle to refill water from the water fountain. For me, that is a good idea, and I would definitely bring one of those refillable bottle and fill it up from my workplace. It is cheap and I don't have spend extra money for a bottle of water. Since the decline of bottle water, the only strategy those companies come up with definitely to reduce the price of it. I understood that some people would not be able to live out a bottle water per day, so, now it is a good time to stock them up. You can buy them in cases with ultra cheap price. It is not my thing to spend money like that, but it is a good advice for other people though.

It is amazing how many people feel that the bottled water is safer and cleaner. Sorry to say in many aspects it isn't. Tests have shown that most of the water sold is filtered in the same fashion as the water we do get from our faucets in our homes. If you worry about bad stuff in your water, there are simple and inexpensive filter systems that you can purchase in the store, a good example is one made by Brita. They even give you a pitcher to filter the water yourself. There you go, your own bottled water.

I grew up drinking tap and only bought bottled water when I was out and was thirsty. I have bought a few cases here and there when they were on sale, but not I am thinking about those refillable eco-friendly bottles because there's to many pros for it. It saves money in the long run, it's better for the environment since making the plastic for the bottle costs a lot of money and my husband did a project on US water usage and making the plastic for the bottle takes more water then the water inside of it and we seem to be wasting a lot of drinkable water. But another bad thing which is putting me off to buying bottled water is that the BPA content in the bottle which leaks into the water and is known to cause some cancers. Most of us now have a measurable amount of BPA in us already because of our usages of plastic throughout the years. Even though water is cheap, I'd still say, save some money, save the earth, and possible save your life.

I know in some places, water isn't cheap so it's all the more necessary to use those from refillable water. I agree tat tap water isn't costly but in some places also, tap water isn't as recommendable to drink directly than mineral or distilled water, although still good for other things that we do. Having your own source of water like, again, refillable water would help you save a little and reduce the buying of bottles - whether they are recyclable or not.
