Do you remember your first breakup?

I was only 12, but I remember it very well. It was over the phone, and he wouldn't even tell me why! I couldn't get him out of my mind after that. I think I thought about him non-stop for three years until I fell in love with someone else.
What was your first breakup like?

Yes my first break up was over the phone as well. Remembering back it was so painful to be told by phone as if I was not worthy of being faced. I believe that the break-up at the time did not hurt me as much as the act of doing so via telephone.
This is funny thinking back now, we suppose now with technology that people are cowards to face a person and express their feelings. When this really has been happening long before the advance technology.

yes! I had two breakups over the phone. I kind of understand though... why deal with the tears and the puppy dog eyes when it's so much easier to pick up the phone and make a clean break.

I suppose but I see a cowards way out though. I mean I feel I think I am deserving of being told up front. For instance we hung out the day before, then that night or the next day I get a break-up phone.. HUH??
Shouldn't I have had the courtesy of being told when we were together. See the crying and puppy eyes will still happen even if face to face. That is if there was true meaning in the relationship.
But I suppose either way I respect someone for breaking up with me as opposed to maybe carrying on and cheating later.

my first break up was back when i was 12. so young to have a boyfriend right, but i did. we were at school on a Saturday supposedly doing a project for the school but then we were just hanging out with other friends. my parents were very strict at that time and i wasnt allowed to go out after dark, but he was and he wanted me to go out one night with him. well i refused and he broke up with me. kid stuff...

yeah, it's funny what kids break up over... almost as funny as the fact they they even try to have a relationship in the first place!

God I was so young maybe 9 years old LOL! When I first feel the pain of loosing my M.U. (mutual understanding) friend. It hurts like if I was prickled in my heart. All the days seems so gloomy. I can't even see the sunshine, I was so lazy going to school and all that. So early huh?!
