Tonight is the 3rd night with no daiper

I decided not to buy anymore daipers once my daughter had gone through them all & tonight is her 3rd night with no daiper at all for bed...The first night she had an accident but I think that's because I made the mistake of letting her have a drink before bed even though she had gone to the toilet...mistakes will happen, I know but I guess I am happy that she is growing up & I can save money on not buying any daipers...We are going on a small holiday on tuesday so I am worried this could mean a step back for her but I don't think it will be too bad...I am also sad that she seems to be growing up too quick as she was 3 back in April.

That is awesome that she has made the adjustment to not having a diaper on at night so well. What you've done with your daughter is pretty much the same thing that I did with both my daughter and my son. I made the decision that I wasn't going to buy any more diapers and then I stuck to that decision. We only had a couple of accidents each, but I think that is to be expected. How is she doing now that she has over a week under her belt of no diaper at night?

Since we have stopped the daipers, she has only had 4 accidents which I think is pretty good - she knows to wake me up if she has an accident so I can get her changed.

That is terrific! I know you are proud of her. Every accomplishment is a milestone for your young one. Cherish everything that she does. I am sure she will be fine on your holiday. Just assure that you take extra clothes and remember the no drinking before bed. Kids grow up tooo fast!

Hi, moonchild1au. I am very familiar with the toilet training years. My oldest daughter is completely toilet trained. She has been for a while now. She practically started using the bathroom on her own without much of our help. My three year old has to catch up with her though. I know what you are going through. I let my oldest daughter wear pull ups while she is at home and at night. And when she goes to school she wears undies/panties. She only had only one accident at school so far. She does good without wetting the bed even when she has a pull up on. We plan to let her stay in this position until she gets used to using the bathroom at night. It saves her from wetting up the bed a lot.

I hope your daughter gets the hang of using the toilet of a night...my daughter doesn't use the toilet in the middle of the night but I make sure she goes before bed & if she wakes up in the night, I ask her if she needs to go & her answer is always no.

Hi, It is a good news that your daughter get diaperless and it definitely can save lot of diapers. For my son,he is diaperless for day time, but during night time I still let him wear diaper. I am yet to train him to be diaperless at night. I have not been buying diapers for the past 2 years, I got free diapers from diaper company as I joined their member and every 3 months, my tips were selected as Star letter and I won some free diapers. It really save lot of money on diaper.

Hey, that is great that you won those daipers! I wish I had done something like that as that would have saved me alot of money too lol. I am glad not to be buying daipers anymore though.

My daughter is toilet trained during the day & mostly wakes up with a dry daiper this is why I have decided not to buy any more daipers.
