Do you prefer fried chicken all the time? What are the other ways to prepare it?

Chicken is one of my favorite viand for rice and sometimes for snack. There's a lot of variations in preparing it or cooking it. The most common way is frying it but for me I don't like it to be fried all the time. I like it in "tinola", "adobo", in sandwiches and in many other chicken dishes which are common here in the Philippines... Aside from frying the chicken, how do you prepare it in your place? Can you share your favorite chicken dish and describe it? Thank you very much!

Once in a while I like to do it different. I take and dip it in butter then roll it in crushed up potato chips...and if you use different kinds you get a different flavor...you bake it until it's done. Not as much grease as in fried chicken.

Thank you for responding and sharing this interesting way of cooking chicken , I've never done that before. I'm now excited to try it with different flavors of potato chips. ^.^ I can't wait to munch which one will give the best flavor or taste. ^.^!

I love fried chicken. I prefer it more than grilled one. I love chicken too but my mom told me its not good to eat chicken cause they are grown in an unnatural way these days.

I love fried chicken also. But i really love to eat curried chicken or I smother it in gravy.Chicken-n- dumplings is another good dish. Alfredo with grilled chicken peices in it. I can make a mean chicken salad with mayo on a toast. Chicken gumbo is another good one.

I like eating fried chicken, but I love baked chicken in the oven with butter and parsley flakes on it for 1 hour on 350 in a gas oven. The advantages of gas is it's a constant heat and if the electric goes out use a search light type of flashlight and you can still cook supper so I recommend having both ranges. Electric is safer but gas is constant and electric cycles. I plan on getting an electric range to go with my gas range for the convenience. Eggs cook better on an electric range and with both going supper will be in a snap.
