I've had this happen several times. It's quite awkward after you wake up and see the person. I kind of felt guilty, and on edge like they would somehow know! I can't imagine why I would have dreams about people that I normally don't think about. Has anyone else ever had this happen? Recently I've been having dreams about my ex husband where he will randomly put his arms around me or even kiss me! I always feel relieved when I wake up because we're not back together, and he's not cheating on his girlfriend with me. lol! Does anyone else have dreams like this? Please tell me I'm not alone!

I also had one recently. There is this guy I vaguely know and haven't seen for about three months. Well I had a dream one night and it was sorta mixed up but at the end he was laying on a shelf and asked me to lay next to him and give him a hug. Funny thing is two days later I saw him! LOL...weird!

I've always believed men & women can be platonic friends. I have 2 female frinds who happened to be 2 of friends I had for a long time & I consider them 2 of my best friends. I used to work with one of them. One day at work, she started giggling & told me she had a dream about me & in her dream, we were romantically involved. Funny enough, I guess what she told me stayed on my mind long enough, I had a dream about her the same night. We were, well, physically engaged, if you know what I mean. I saw her next day @ work & everytime when I saw her or she walked by, I just bursted out in this uncontrolable laughing fit. I finally told her why I was laughing so much & she started laughing on the spot. We kept this up the whole day & people we worked together thought we were just a pair of nuts. We still talk about it to this day. I don't know I would call it awkward but it sure was different. We've flirted with the idea of being involved since then but we never really followed through with it. Now I'm involved in a relationship with someone else so I wouldn't even think of hurting either of them, my friend & girl-friend, we wouldn't think of starting anything. In our case, that type of dream was actually a good thing for us. It brought us closer as friends.

I get what you mean! It is so awkward! That totally happens to me also. I don't know quite what to say, or if I should even mention it! That relief I feel - the thought that it was all a dream - makes me happy... but then I worry right after because just the thought of it makes me all gross. Plus, I want someone to explain to me why I get dreams like that! It's not like I want those things to happen.
