Depending on the distance, if the land travel would only take about five hours maximum, I would prefer the land travel, considering the time needed for getting to the airport, check-in time, waiting time, and so on. I enjoy driving along the highways through the country-side, very relaxing. How about you ? Do you prefer air travel or land travel ?

I prefer air travel if it such a long distance, but if it is short distance and there's a great scenery on the road then I prefer land travel. If the road has such a boring view and bumpy road, I much prefer air travel also. Waste of time and energy.

I prefer air travel when i will go to a place much further... but f course land travel is not so bad at all - it gives you bonding time with the persons you are traveling with, and gives you the luxury of time to go to places where you think you need to drop by to. :D

Hi Greenline I prefer land travel or even a cruise I don't like flying it makes my ears pop and I really don't like the feel of the cabin pressure which makes my ears pop also now a days since 9/11 air travel can be such a long process with security not that its not neccesary but theres so many limits on what you can take on board and what you can take

I'm too. I like land travel. I can drive or get in a public car. I can sight-seeing and stop when I need. Of course if I must travel with long distance and a short time, I must travel by air.

Well, it will depend to the place. If the easy way to travel is by air then i would prefer by plane. But I love traveling by land. Because i love site seeing. You can stop whenever you want and take a picture. And you can enjoy every places that you are passing by.

I didn't fly until 2005.I still prefer the train. You don't have to worry about traffic.

My favorite form of transport is train and I am happy in the day time when I can look out of the window and at night time when I can sleep in a comfortable compartment. A journey by bus can be quite enjoyable but there is less leg room and it is not as comfortable. For a journey of five hours the train would be the best way for me to travel. If there wasn't a train available I would be happy to travel by bus. So I like to travel overland. I find I can see a lot when I travel by land either by train which I love or by bus that I like. I find traveling by train relaxing and by bus I find it interesting. I find air travel is getting far less enjoyable these days. I don't like the extra security checks and the silly liquids rules. There is so much time spent waiting around. There can be stress for me seeing if I can get a window seat. There is a view on take off and landing but in the air there clouds to see. They get a bit boring compared to seeing the landscape unfold on a train trip. There isn't much leg room and plane seats are not comfortable. I find traveling by air really stressful.

If I don't have to be thre by any certain time then I prefer land travel. I like to be able to stop and enjoy when I want to. I might even run into a place that I want to stay the night. I love to take the interstate by the east coast when I go to Florida. There is so much to see.

I prefer to land travel.. because my salary don't allow me to travel by air.. I think the air rates are very very high.. so my whole salary are done in the air ticket.. if i travel via air..

i prefer land-travel as well because i love to enjoy the scenery along the way and can drop my self any where as i wonder and no need to ask other permission for that. However, if in peak season, i would considered by air-travel.

I love land travel if I'm not in a hurry to go in a certain distant places because you can see the beauty of nature which give you an insight to appreciate the creation of our creator. Land travel teach you how to familiarize your route, terrain, place, and especially the approximated time to be consume in approaching to that place if you travel again. Further, land travel is an adventure if you have a car!
