can't get wanted username for twitter?

I tried signing up for twitter only to find myself not able to score a user name. I tried almost anything I could think of. My name, nicknames, heck I even tried my 1st & 2nd name combined to no avail? So, did you experience this as well? What was the user name you desired but was not able to get?

I had no such problems with a Twitter username, it's actually quite rare for me to not being able to get my desired username. Typically I will use Allen or AllenWiggs, and never have a real issue finding one or the other. Twitter I'm AllenWiggs just like on here. Really since using my name for usernames I have had less problems signing up for sites then back when I used pseudonyms.

I have not, but it may be do to the fact that when Twitter first came out, members were creating multiple accounts, with various names in attempt to sell them, to make money. A few of my Twitter friends tried to get me in on this scam and I had refused, but chances are that is why you are having problems creating a twitter user name.
