I have missed much of mylot in the last two days. The real world of stress and worry has taken over. Stress over land disputes and worry over a very sick friend who can't seem to get out of the hospital. Around here we are all working on both these items. No time for computer. I know that is hard to believe in todays computer driven lifes. Sorry for not responding will try to catch up today.

we all have our moments or days when the world seems against us or those we love.

No need for an explanation Pat; it’s the same for all of us. Life takes over at times and computer work has to take a back step. I have been very behind before as I am usually during school holiday time when I have to put my daughter before anything else. I always catch up eventually and if I don’t so be it. Friends understand…Such is life…I hope your friend gets better soon…

I don't think you ever need to apologize for not going on the internet. Lately, though, MyLot has been ruling my life (kind of) - as I've been coming on every day and it's once again becoming a weird addiction for me. (lol, oh well, it's better than most addictions!) All of our lives get to be stressful at some point in time - so I understand!

I don't think a person should ever have to apologize for not having time to spend on the computer. We are all humans on here and there are going to be plenty of times that we have to dedicate our time to real world issues instead of computer based issues. That said, I'm so sorry to hear that you are having issues with land disputes and as far as your sick friend goes I will add them to my nightly prayer list in hopes that they will get well soon.

MyLot and other computer activities and opportunities will be around when you have nothing else to do. My sister always said, "Take care of the living things first." She said that about housework, but it was also true of many other things. Your friend needs your concern right now. Possibly you can come up with a concrete way to help, as well.

I have to agree with you, Savy. Yesterday was like, September 1st and now it's on the 15th here in the Philippines. Everything is like - fast paced! I hope you are okay in there and was able to attend your farm. I, too, on the other hand is praying for my grandma's knee surgery there in San Francisco, CA. The unfortunate thing is that, after week, there will be no one to attend here since my aunt can only have a week leave of absence. I hope everyone here is okay with whatever they are going through now. Tc, Savy. =)

We can't deny the fact that Computers have revolutionized our daily life. Since the birth of computers and internet, there have been a great change to our world of living. Making us now dependent so much on computers to reach out to the outside world. But the demand of the real world is begging for our attention leaving us no choice but to come down to the real world affairs first. Don't worry, as your long time friend here, I do understand the commitments you face in your real world. Take your time as mylot is here to stay.

Pat- You have no need to apologize for anything. This is only one facet of your life just as it is only one facet of my own. I know that when I sign in I may see your post or you may be doing other things that require your attention. I am always happy to see you but I never angry when I do not see you. Perhaps a tad sad but never angry. I hope your sick friend will make a speedy recovery and I shall light a candle for them. Namaste-Anora

You should never apologize for not being able to catch up on here. As you said some other things sometimes take precedence and just as your real friends will understand, so will your friends on the computer also understand that these matters need your immediate attention.
