My product is Better because they suck! ( a rant)

I hate, hate this type of commerical. I used to like Popeyes Commericals because they told me about their chicken. They didn't even mention KFC. They were cute commericals But now That they are dissing KFC, I am boycotting them. KFC's commerical is too busy telling me how good their chicken to even mention Popeyes. Does the " my product is better than their product." work for you? Does It Really make you try their product?

Sometimes it does....but not when they diss someone else....I tried Oxyclean because of the commercials and glad I did....but that's about the only one that had ever impressed me.

I hate those kinds of commercials too. I don't know why the even have to mwntion their competitor at all.

I hate all commercials except a few of the Geico Ins ones with the lizard and such... and only cause they are funny. But I don't think one way or another when a commercial compares their product to someone else's. IF I dont like theirs in the first place, it wouldn't make me want to try theirs if I like the other guys better already that they are putting it down. IF they say something that might intrigue me to try theirs, I will, but putting a competitor down, means nothing to me. But if I have to watch them, I'd rather watch them tell how great their own product is more than how better it is than someone else's.
