Mumbai Indians letting off another match which they could easily have won, crumbling under pressure and of the worst performances you will see as a cricket fan by a world class team or should i say world class team on paper.Losing or winning is a part of game losing like this is certainly disappointing, not taking anything away from South Australia though they played superb cricket to pull this one off.Mumbai Indians have a slim chance of reaching semis as they have to win both their matches and then will have to wait for results of other matches ,that is luck .South Australians are almost through to next round as they just have to beat Guyana now, .Very well said by Harsha Bhogle at the end of the match , its cohesive teams that is winning not collections , so true indeed .Share your views .

The worst part of Mumbai Indians is that Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh have recovered from injuries and they are not in good bowling form and same is the case of Bravo. So, nothing much can be done about this and Mumbai Indians team is collection of different country players and so it is hard to tell which player is in good form, etc. Team management will allow these big name players because they have written contract with these players. Second part is that South Australia team players contain all the Australian national and domestic players. Frugeanson has represented for Australia and Shaun Tait as well, there are some players and Redbacks have won the Australian domestic competition and under estimating them is not right on our part. Dropping more than 3 catches will never give a team to win a match. So, fielding was so awful and added to that bowling changes and bowlers line and length was pathetic. Zaheer kept on bowling full tosses in the 19th over, although he got one wicket but still he was very expensive. This shows Mumbai Indians are not had enough time in preparing for this tournament and most of the players have come from rest and injuries. Team is not playing as combine unit right now. Guyana looks like weak team and all the teams will beat them and if Mumbai Indians could not win against them then they will be in the bottom of the table. All MI can do is win the remaining matches and hope that Redbacks beat all the other teams which they will play in coming days, then only MI will have chance. Lions too are playing well and Royal Challengers Bangalore is also in the same group and they were good against Guyana but we have to see their performance against Lions and Redbacks. RCB, Lions have chance to qualify for the semis. Now only luck can save Mumbai Indians.. Nothing else..

Good point mate , most of the players are coming out from injuries also Bravo ,Harbhajan and Zaheer play with more dedication for their country as compared to playing for club or any other team. But good practice for Zaheer before all important Australian series for team India. He was nowhere close to his potential like you mentioned over that fielding was disappointing, surely fielding and bowling has let MI down in this tournament , they are much better team than this.I think they dont deserve to be in next round of the tournament and if by luck they manage to play semis i dont think they will be in the finals, thanks a lot for your response.

It was really a pathetic display on the field by the MI. What made it worse was that it came on the back of a wonderful fielding display by the South Australians. I think MI deserve to go out of the tournament on the back of these two really sloppy displays while bowling. I think Pollard must be really having a go at the dressing room for spoiling all the good work he had done!! Cheers! Ram

I agree to you mate, actually red backs were struggling but after that drop of catch by Sachin, Dumini and Tiwari they just dominated the match , had these catches been taken the story would have been totally different .You are absolutely correct that MI doesnt deserve the place in next round, what a pity after dedicated efforts of Pollard along with Tiwary and Rayudu.

Yep, but that is why cricket is a team game. Once in a blue moon an individual's effort will win a match, but generally it has to be backed by a good team support. Here on the field MI really let down their batsmen. Cheers! Ram
