Do you prefer portable broadband or fixed broadband.

Usually we will have fixed broadband for its speed. Especially those who like to watch movies/ download online... but recently many company offers broadband with 3G or GPRS connection which is portable. Which one would you prefer, portable but slow connection / fast but not portable.... I really don't know how to choose...

Hi,i have now using Mobile GPRS.I connect my mobile to pc data cable and use internet.But it is slow.it is not help to speed download,upload.Only read websites,and read mail.Now i am trying to change Broadband Connection.

Wouldn't it be great if portable access too has such stability and speed :p Wonder when can this be achieve :p

I do travel a lot, so portable broadband suits me well. With my current provider, I've got unlimited internet service (7.2MBps, scaled down to 64KBps after 1GB usage per month). The network is quite stable, and it only cost me $12!

Portable which means wifi? Wifi is great and I use not portable internet access (wifi at home). However, I love the part where you can bring those small usb modem with you when you cant find any wifi spot!

Usb modem sure works great for surfing the net and reading emails... Anyway, if the speed can be much faster, it would be better :D
