Why IT companies select other stream engineers.

Why IT companies select other stream engineers. I am not against the selection of those guys. But the thing is that. Due to this one side a pure IT guy doesnot get the opportunity, other side those companies spoil also the abilities of a core engineer and put them in programming. He does not left any option when he gets a good salary at start but no future after some years.which he could have in his own branch. I think this must be regulated. And other side a pure IT guy miss an opportunity.

Yeah IT companies recruit engineers of other streams such as electronics and provide training to them.That is really stupid because IT engineers can get job only in IT field .Others can try for job in their respective field as well as in the IT field.That is India for you.

Thanks for response. yes this is and government must interfere this. they dont allow the unions who can act on labour laws also. i think this is a kind of exploitation.

The govt has nothing to do in this, i think.It seems like IT is so easy that anyone with engineering degree can work as an IT professional.LOL. In other fields also these things happen, not only IT. Just like how MBA and B tech graduates want to work as a bank clerk.

I think IT companies have many department also.. so they need every type of persons who are willing to work with them.. and also in IT companies their are danger of cheating and also lose.. so companies hire every types of engineer like chemical, computer, mechanical.. and also IT companies are working on many projects which are related to every field.. so if IT companies have every types of persons who are knowing everything then it would be good for companies and also gain good profit.. what do you say..

Thanks for response. i think there must be a kind of regulation so that the human resource can be managed in a way which could produce a better and efficient output and greater future for all.
