I think racism has to be taken very seriously, anywhere in the world. It is good to see that UEFA is taking this seriously. But I think they should first give Bayern a chance to clean up the act and ensure that such fans do not come over to the stadium. Only if they are not able to control, then FIFA should step in!! Cheers! Ram

You need to check with UEFA if you are looking for racism. If the world "Black" which is just a color is construed as racism, this certainly is racism :) Cheers! Ram

Is this considered to be racism? It's just supporting the other team and telling that their supporting team is gonna win the match.. I don't see any racism in that sentence.. It's very common..I have seen those comments in posters in many cricket matches, like one team supporters telling the other team to go home. Racism is something different... Moreover players have taken a pledge that "Say no to Racism"

racism occurs only with indifferent colors...and not by fans telling the opponent team to go home!! Did the fans say anything about their color? anything about their religion? anything about their country? Nothing is the answer!! They just told "go home" This is not considered as Racism..

You say it is a rumor that UEFA considers this to be an offensive sign. It seems everyone knows it is supposed to be a joke. It is not racist to tell people you think you will beat them. Now if there are other things included then it is a great idea that the perpetrators be censored. In the past just telling the opposing team to go home was not considered offensive.
