Phone calls in the middle of the night

Here's what happened to me last night: I think it was around 3 in the morning when suddenly the phone started to ring. I'm quite a light sleeper, so it woke me up. My mom was faster than me, though, and picked it up, visibly worried that something bad might have happened (after all, why else would someone call this late?)... and it turned out it was someone that had made a mistkae and was calling the wrong number! Both of us had gotten so scared and worried, and it was for nothing... I can't help but wonder why that person was calling someone else so late in the night, though. Has something similar ever happened to you? Did you get all annoyed at the person or were you just glad it was nothing serious or bad that had happened?
