Fate, self confidence, hard work, God faith-which is most powerful?

India

Most of us beleive in fate. ( a new born baby having fatal diseases, a not so talented person is very successful in life, very talented person unable to be successful all tell that fate is there) We can't leave everything to fate and keep idle in life. We need to have self confidence, we need to work hard and should have God faith too. So, which is most powerful? I think, self confidence and hard work are important. But fate seems to be more powerful. God is most powerful and with God's blessing we can overcome fate. I want to work hard, be confident and have blessings of God.. Your views please.

When we have faith, we would firmly believe that God would shower His grace on us.It would also reinforce our own faith in ourselves .THis would give us the impetus to work hard .If we keep working hard and in the right direction[God's grace would help us choose the right direction]we would be able to achieve the results which God has desired for us.We will have to keep on working hard with some set goals in mind. If God wishes us to achieve all the goals He would definitely make it come true taking fate in His hands. Now, if we are going to dream beyond our realistic intrinsic capability this maynot happen. We have to realise our strengths and work towards our goal. THe results are not in our hands.THey are in GOd's hands.I believe in fate. But I also believe that God would take care of me.I would not like to say that I can overcome fate. With GOd's blessings, He Himself would push me in the right direction.I cannot do it myself.

As i am so uneducated, sweetie. Let me answer this as i live with it each day. No one of the above mentioned is more powerful. For me personally, they walk hand in hand. 'You cannot live without one of those and you cannot get less from one of them.' TATA.

If you want to know the most powerful, it is Faith. Faith in GOD, faith in yourself, faith in your business, faith in your customers, faith in your family. Belief and faith. Of course, Desire has a strong influence as well. The other things are necessary, but as you develop your faith, they grow stronger. Focus on your strengths, sponsor your weaknesses.(Go in Business with people, that are strong where you are weak, work together, for the highest good of all concerned) Sincerely and With Appreciation.

Hi,CJscott , ofcourse faith drives the whole world. Without faith nothing can exist. If you don't have faith that you will get up alive next morning, you can't sleep any night. But which is most important faith? faith in God? In fate? hard work? confidence?

As a Christian, I say Faith in GOD. As a student of the Law of Attraction, I say, it doesn't matter where you place your faith, so long as you exercise it. Sincerely and With Appreciation.

wow, that's a great attitude jai dear. It's total surrender. some people are capable of surrendering totally to God. They are gifted people. I am sure God will take care of them. I envy such people because I can't totally surrender to God even though tried many times to do it.

Yes,i had it proven, and i can say that i am one of the living proof to testify God's work. Each day i lived and survived with the help of our God. And,i had so much to say my thanks to HIM...and Glorify HIS name, for all the unending Blessings and Care HE has given me ,my family and people around me. Even you,i consider you as one of God's Blessings in my life. It is not everyday that,i met/found a good friend/a brother from the net.

Hi, vijayanths, I my life God is everything. I my daily comings and goings to God. I pray for protection for the day and then I just take the journey hope that God's grace will allow me to make it through until the next and the next day. All people don't believe as I do, I understand that and accept that. I do not force what I feel and believe on anyone; that is why whe have the freedom to choose. I choose God.

Hi anna, Your reasons are fine. But there is also a reason for new born baby having fatal diseases is purely on the mother's attitude at the time of delivery and the intake of food during her pregnancy. Should not be afraid for anything, just be happy about the baby then this kind of problems will not arise. Talented person will never failed because he will be trying again and again because he knows that he is talented in that particular thing, he will have that confident that he can succeed one day. That will defiantly to achieve. Unsuccessful one, is the one i feel he will be doing without prior planning or proper planning about his work. And if you add God helps then sure every one will get through. Fate is the word used by the persons who are lazy or no proper guidance, no self confidence. But some times that word will help those people by just blame the word FATE and they releaved from that sickness (or dissatisfaction or depress) caused by failure in their work. I will not believe this fate rather i will believe god. Have a good time.

No dear Jo I will not agree with you on "But there is also a reason for new born baby having fatal diseases is purely on the mother's attitude at the time of delivery and the intake of food during her pregnancy", though most times what you say holds good. fate sometimes plays cruelly.Okay, why should a person say a good person who drives carefully knocked down fatally by a rash driver on road? Fate is very powerful.

All things happen for a reason. I don't necessarily believe in fate. I believe God is in control of all things, except our own choices. As difficult as things are to go through and perhaps live with, God does not give us more than we can handle and will help us through what we can't handle. Unfortunate events help us to grow in faith and as human beings. There are lessons to be learn and God is teaching us. He wants us to learn and turn what is bad into something good. The word 'fate' may be a form of the word 'faith' created by someone who does not believe.

hard work is the powerful i think. God's fate can be change if u are willing to work hard to change the fate. but if u just surrender with your fate, then u r underpowered.

Good afternoon Vijay. I think faith in God should be the most powerful. Have faith that He will be with you, have faith that He won't let you endure more suffering than you can handle. Have faith that it might take an incredibly long time to see that He will help you out of a situation. In other words, faith that He keeps his covenants to you and that you will keep your covenants you make to Him (which is not easy.) I think hard work is next. Hard work not only gets positive results most of the time (some positive results might take an incredibly long time. ) But it also is good for the body. We can be self confidence, but some folks are over confident. Many times those kinds of folks are humbled. I see all kinds of humans (conservative, liberals, leaders, businessmen, etc.) who are very good at what they do. They are confident and work hard but things still don't work out they way they want them to. As for fate. Fate will happen regardless of what we do. Only God knows what our fates are which places Him above fate. He can change your fate if He wants to. I personally think He knows what our fates are. But we don't know. So, for example, we see a bad thing coming after us, there is no light at the end of the tunnel. It looks like our fate is bad. God knows differently. So we pray and work harder. And the impossible and improbable happens. We call it a miracle. Other people call it fate. But God already knew what it was and saw it differently from what we were seeing before it happened. Jesus tells us not to worry because worry (in my own words) is not a magic wand. Worry will not make things better because we worry. Que sera sera. What will be will be. Therefore, work hard, have confidence(but not overconfidence) in yourself, don't worry and have faith in God. Don't worry about fate since we truly don't know what it is until after it happens in spite of astrologers and other clairvoyants who say differently.

wow, RobtheRock, I am happy that you have given a extensive analysis on this topic and come up with very good points. I do agree that God only knows our fate and He only can help us to overcome our fate. It is also important that we should be confident but not over confident as you pointed out, thanks.

I have been working to the bone my dear friend since I was 11 years old. All my hard efforts and God wonderful grace is what has made the go getter person that I am. Although I get let down no matter how hard I work, I re-balance my thoughts and remember that God has something better in store very soon.

no matter how much we work hard and have a lot of self confidence, if it's not in accordance to God's will, we won't have it. it's like having a lot of luck even if we didn't ask for it. but i'm not saying just wait for whatever is coming. let us treat everyday as a blessing and realize that he brought us to whatever situation we are in- be it good or bad. either of these, he wants us to learn a lesson or two. it is in these situations that we practice self confidence and hard work. having faith in him would bring us content and happy with whatever we have.

I believe in God therefore for me He is all powerful. With God all things are possible. I pray to God everyday and throughout each day. I pray that His will, not mine, be done. Now I do get up and getting going taking action keeping alert for His guidance in what I do. Everyone believes different and that is fine with me. I respect everyone's beliefs.

well of course i think everyone of us here would definitely want good things to happen in our lives...and yes i agree sometimes "fate" determines more of what we become more than hard work and self confidence do..... but i think we should really try our best to do our best in everything....even in beating out the odds.... i'm sure most of us hear have heard amazing stories about people who were highly unlikely to do something great, but have proven otherwise, and they did succeed.... they are our inspiration....to do more than what we thought we could do..... God bless us all.

Hi,vijayanths! For me,I believe self confidence and hard work are the most important factors.I don't really believe in fate though sometimes I'm also a little superstitious. And as a Chinese who have received the education from the Party for so many years,I don't really believe in God either.I do think faith is essential, though. I don't have much self confidence, which has made me lose a lot of opportunities. So I think it is really important. As for hard work,I reckon it plays a great role in success, too.Lazy people have fewer chances to succeed. Have a good day!

hi, babyanna , I accept that self confidence and hard work are very important factors. If there is no fate, then why good people suffer a lot in this world? Do you think all those successful people are talented than others? Why so many talented, hard working people are not so successful?

Hi, This is a very interesting discussion.I am appreciating your idea of starting this discussion.I think we need everything to become a success in life.Al of us would require fate, self confidence, hard work and god-faith.If a person lacks any one of this then he will to succeed in his life.In the mean time we should not be so superstitious and believing in such things that you have mentioned .I have tried these so I was able to get some success in my life.Hope you would experience the same in your life.
