Hello my friend gjabaigar Ji, So nice of you for your immediate response. It is ver great question why at all something is required, well, my hubby has a habit to keep all records in tact at a glance, Since 1993 I have been suffering with mainly RA along with HTN/DM2/UTI. Now, when we visit any Doctor, they need complete history, my hubby has maintained all my different types of treatment/medication/Investiagation/Blood-reports all in .xl. Now he is just compiling in dairy form, which would be handy, so he wants to convert all such .xl files into words file. Off course he is on the job, by increasing the Cell to suitable dimensions, but it is a tedious job. Please do not ask whay at all he wants to do. Next, I have Windows-Xp Lap-top-TOSHBA as OS and another HP Mini Note-book with Windows-7 as its OS. Hope you will find some easy solutions. Thanks. Take care. May God bless You and have a great time.

Oh wow thank you very much and I love you both.... God Bless you and your family, and most importantly you and your hubby's health. My suggestion is to make your life and work simple, less stress and less pressures, so converting those Excel files to Words is not needed actually. Converting those files will be more complicated and tedious and time consuming. If you have a lot of Excel of files to be converted the files size of the Word Document file will have a large file size. And it can be confusing, untidy and chaotic by just putting them on a single Word Document file. All you have to do is just make a Word Document detailed report style which is accordingly to those Excel files or just state those Excel files as an attachment or supported files. I think your Doctors because that is job and that's what you pay for, the Doctors will surely be understand that kind of format or style of documents. You don't have to please them. ok. You can put those Excel files by group on Folders. Just put information or identification for each folders or even on the files, thru filenames. If you have "One Note" on your version of MS Office it is better than Word Document for such task, functions or style. Anyway...... If you wanted needed really... Of course there are solutions converting those files or having those Excel by group of selected Cells only but not by "Sheets" respectively. By just the power of copy and paste. Select or highlights your cells from the Excel files you want to put or copy to the Word Document...... Or just simple of keyboard shortcuts "Ctrl-C" then "Ctrl-V" ..... After you paste those cells into the Word Document you can adjust the cells from there on. For more options on putting or pasting...... Use the "Paste Special" under the Word Document Menu Edit..... There a more options you want to have.... Like if you want just a Link to that Excel File so your Word Document is not cluttered. And some other options you just have to try the others on the "Paste Special".....

i dont think there is a converter, by default office latest as the option and no one is bother to create other software to convert them and more over the older version doc files are opened in the latest one in compatibility mode, then why do you what to change them????

Hello my friend kai9999 Ji, Well, thanks a lot. I brought this discussion as revealed to No.2 responder in detail. Moreover, I know that computer can do all jobs, if given correct in-puts. Therev are many ideas come to everyone's mind and keep troubling, like I have another idea, I kept tying while my Caps were locked and after sometime I thought of writing in normal way, so tyehre should be a key and function. There is no question, why someone wants. This is another way of keeping our brain up-dated. May God bless You and have a great time.
