I don't like coffee, I used to drink COW milk everyday in morning and evening, Even I didn't start drinking coffee until I was 19 years really !...anyway! As far as my opinion concerned I SAY ABSOLUTELY NOT, But One more important thing NOW THAT WE KNOW ABOUT HORMONES AND ANTIBIOTICS GIVEN TO COWS.... WHAT SHOULD KIDS DRINK? TOO MUCH SOY IS BAD, FRUIT DRINKS WITH SUGAR BAD, CHOCOLATE MILK AND SODAS HORRENDOUS, ....CHECK THE WATER, IT'S NOT ALWAYS THE BEST...So .....waht do you think..Please Reply... btw My Favorite Drink is BEER

Balancing is not bad - A fat balanced diet will not hurt anyone.
Too much of anything is certainly not good. Although I feel that as long as their is a balance why not give kids some everything. No matter how much we try they are going to develop and understand the reasoning behind health nutrition. So I start the path that leads them through their journey and a little sugar will not kill them so I am not with all that.

Some families agree with you. Me I do not encourage the drinking of coffee when children are little, but if asked I would not say no.

Hi, IT is not good to let children drink coffee as coffee contain caffeine. For me, I will only let my son taste 1 or 2 drop of coffee and I prefer to offer him plain water, soya milk, green tea or ribena for his drink. I also avoid giving too sweet drink for my son. Of course, fresh juice fruit is acceptable for children.

Coffee is very addictive as it contains stimulant like caffeine. If you don't want your child to drink it, then don't give him as he may get interested in it.. :)

I definitely don't think that children should drink coffee, and I will also admit that I didn't drink coffee until I was in college and even now I don't drink coffee on a regular basis. Instead, I think that milk is a good option for children, but I don't think that they should drink too much milk. I think that water is a fine option, but if you are going to give the children tap water, you should definitely filter it first.

In the good old days, milk is the best option. But in recent times, we are seeing things like melamine added to milk powder, the cow being fed all sorts of stuff, one really wonder if milk is the best thing on earth.

Yaa coffee is good for childrens but it should not be like ten to fifteen cups a day.Once or twice a day will make them feel fresh. But there is a thought by most people that too much of having coffee in a day may make you turn dark a bit.Otherwise no other side effects so far I have heard about this.I thinks childrens should go for cow's milk.

There is no nutrients we can get with coffee for Children. Children needs to make their bones strong as they need to grow that is why they need more of milk than coffee. Coffee is a anti oxidant, and they need it when they get older. While they are young, they need milk to get nutrients for it for their brain to function well and for their bones to get strong and even their teeth. That is the reason there are different kinds of milk available in the market for children ages 1-4 until they reach their teenage years.

I don't think that children should be drinking coffee. My children drink organic milk and fresh fruit juice, along with a couple of glasses of fresh water while they're playing and that's pretty much all they drink. I wouldn't like them to drink coffee, as I don't think that the caffeine is good for them. It's upto them whether they choose to drink it or not when they're older, but while I am feeding them, they will be on a very healthy diet so that they are getting the best start possible in their life. I would feel guilty if they developed any kind of health problems when they were older if it was anything to do with the diet that I had given to them when they were children under my care.

I started with coffee regularly a few years after I started working. That was because I could afford to buy and also because coffee helped me to stay awake to finish my job. But this has incidentally turned me into a coffee-addict. I'm trying hard to reduce it to one in the morning and one in the late afternoon and not up to 6 cups per day most times. While coffee has its benefits too much may just be detrimental too. I think children should be drinking lots of plain boiled water (as we have it here) as well as milk. Their bodies need them alot for growing and for health.

coffee is not good for children, milk is still the best for them. Though i've heard lots of bad stuff regarding milk specially coming from china coz they put melamine on it that can cause cancer, this sounds really scary. Maybe goat's milk is much better, fruit juices is good as well particularly the fresh ones..

I would suggest fresh orange juice. Just squeez from the orange. Tastes stunning and also high in fibre to keep your children regular.

i think kids should drink apple juice..or juice that is healthy for them because if you start giving kids bad things at a young age when they get older thats all theyll want is bad food because thats all they know is eating unhealty

I don't think that coffee is good for children. I read that it stunts their growth. I do get your point about everything else that you mentioned. There are a lot of things that have come up about the things in what we eat and drink.

Well, for kids to be drinking coffee is a bit exaggerated and it's rare. Coffee may not be good for them as it has a lot of caffeine. Kids should just drink more milk as it helps them grow.

I know that growing up I wasn't allowed to drink coffee until I was a teenager and even that was decaf until I was about 16. My mother was always worried about something messing up my growth or something. I wouldn't advise having young children drink coffee, regardless of whether it's decaf or not. Milk is still good for children, regardless of what scares you might hear in the news or whatever. Fruit drinks are bad, but you do have to watch the sugar. The fruit aspect is really good and there are plenty of fruit drinks that are low on sugar, too. And water is good if you can get clean water. Either buy distilled water or get a water filter for your sink. Even though I hate it when my grandparents say it, I do have to follow their philosophy on this one. This is the stuff I drank when I was growing up and it hasn't killed me yet. I actually grew up on well water, which isn't always the cleanest thing ever, but I thought it tasted pretty good and I drank it.

Of course children should not be drinking coffee. Who in the right mind would let children drink coffee. They need milk in their bodies or something more delicious than that.

Coffee for children (not infants) is probably better than the other rubbish that they drink! But I grew up on tea. Put the kettle on, kids!

I think the children should have a change to drink what ever they want including coffee. If the child wants to have it her/his way then so be it. That should be that. I dont understand if people say.. No the child should CERTANTLY Not have coffee. Well i Disagree. Children should have the rights for Coffee
