to wake up at 4 am isn't it a little too early .i don't hate to wake up early but wake up too late,as waking up at 1 pm. to wake up is good that make you have more time to do something meaning. But don't wake up too early ,it's harmful to your health. if you lack of sleep often you will feel sick and tired ,this can slow down your work effect. So love your self ,don't wake up at 4 am and keep a health body .

I hate waking up early. The only way I wake up early in the morning is if I'm forced to wake up early and even if I shut off my alarm, my dad wakes me up. Or if I'm going to do something fun for the whole day like going to Disney World. Other than that I hate waking up early. Good thing I have classes at night, but my problem is I sleep till late. I would wake up at 4pm or after. Now I'm starting to wake up at 1pm that way I don't feel like I don't have time on my hands. You can change your time, just have to go to bed early and motivate yourself on getting up from the bed.

Yes, I hate waking up in the morning, it feels like my body refused to cooperate every time I wake up in the morning for work. Gosh I really hate it, that's why I want to establish myself in business and writing so that I would not be compelled to wake up in the morning for work..hehehe

While reading your post, I remember this line "early bird catches worm". This was the line that I always hear from my mother before. She always iterated that I will be missing a lot of things if I wake up very late because God showers opportunities early in the morning. That was when I was still in my elementary years. ^.^ Today, I wake up early in the morning during weekdays because my work starts at 8 am and its a bit far from our home so I still have to travel. But during weekends, I wake up very late but not later than 12 noon. ^.^. I also experience the same with you when I was still in college. So what I did was I didn't enrolled in early classes so that I still have enough time to study. But there are times that I really have to wake up as early as 3 AM. It is just a matter of discipline. Start changing your mindset and yes, it requires a lot of practice so start now.. ^.^

I hate it more than anything in this world! And that snooze alarm is the worst button ever made, I end up spending an extra hour in bed than I should. I have really bad sleep pattern too :/

Yeah i don't really enjoy getting up that early in the morning.I think that it is neccessary though to get up and even though we all want to sleep in if you have a job or have to go to school you should keep these responsibilites even though it may be a drag getting up so early.I have to get up at 4:30 am every saturday and sunday and 7 am every day of the work week.I work part time on the weekedns and go to college on the weekend , its a strain on my sleep but is neccessary to get a nice career.

Hi abj163, I am just the opposite, I love waking up early in the morning and hate to go to bed. In fact, I love wakingup early that I almost always wakeup before my alarm clock goes off. The morning brings life and opportunity for new possibilities. I also get excited about my plans for the day. Nightime seems to bring closure on things that I didn't have time to do, and closure on a day that will never come again. If your internal clock (waking up without an alarm clock)is not working, then you have to rely on your alarm clock. You need to get to bed early enough so that you will not be feeling bad in the morning.

I am elderly person. So I wake up at 4.00AM. I understand your position as a young man. I recollect my younger days when I was studying 10th class or so. My grand mother used to live with us.Every day before I went to bed I used to request my grand mother to wake me at 4AM

I dont hate waking up in early in the morning i would be glad i still woke up..but it depends on how early is early.. if i woke up at 4am in the morning thats fine as long as I already have enough sleep prior to waking up at 4am... so its a case to case basis.

As a housewife, I must get up early. Because if I overslept, I will not be able to prepare breakfast for my husband and children. Sometimes I'm lazy to get up early, but I had to fight my feeling lazy.

I don't have such a problem at all. Everyday I have to work hard and at night I just fell alseep as soon as I lie in bed. Most of the time, I won't wake up until the alarm goes off.

While you can condition yourself to awake at certain times, I think sometimes the body dictates what it will do based on need. Do you think getting up this early is helpful with your studies? I would have thought it would be better to study when you're more alert.

Yes, I do hate waking up so early in the morning. But i have no choice but to get up. My work start at 8 am and i avoid to be late. In my case, when i feel sleepy, i sleep then set my alarm for an hour to wake me up and study. I don't force myself to be awake the whole time to study because its just wont work. I will just forget what i have studied and feel sleepy in the class.
