Can anyone here on Mylot tell me how to
Add a paragraph return on an empty line to separate the sections. Also, please insert a paragraph return on an empty line before and after your chapter headings. This will prevent your sections from smashing together.
Does this mean hitting the enter key to space?

As far as I know, in formatting, hitting the enter key twice gives you one blank line between, but a paragraph heading is usually more space than that (like a space and a half, sometimes). In MS Word you can format so that different types of paragraphs get different types of spacing. Depending on how strict your instructions are, I guess you could try skipping two blank lines to indicate separation of the sections? It's really hard to know without seeing what, exactly, you're working on.
