I am a music lover, and I very much enjoy listening to all types of music. Clasical music is my favorite. I keep a collection of CDs of classical music. When I travel to countries overseas, I often buy CDs of music of the cultures there. Though they sound different, music of countries around the world are so beautiful and enchanting too in their own unique ways. Do you emjoy listening to music of other countries ?

Oh, yes, yes, yes, I love listening to the music of other countries, especially other Asian countries. You're right, their music is enchanting and brings you to ancient kingdoms (the classical types). Even their contemporary songs are great, especially those used in movie or TV soundtracks. I also have this affinity for soundtracks of animes from Japan!

I bought a few CDs when I visited Tokyo, modern songs and classical songs. They are so beautiful, and indeed very enchanting. They very much carry the traditional values of music and culture, I would say. I listen to them often whenever I have the time.

Oh, and if you're into instrumental especially the piano, you gotta hear Yiruma. My favorites are River Flows Into You, Destiny of Love and Wait There.

Occasionally I don't have much of a chance though. There was a girl from France that we used to listen on Youtube she sang in French and I liked a few of her songs. I have also noticed that Indian music has gotten a lot better and is actually really dancy. I don't mind listening to that at all, but I don't listen to a lot of music from other countries, it is not that I won't it is just that I am not exposed to it.

Oh yes, I do understand what you are saying. Music of different countries are unique in their own ways, traditionally and culturally. But, of course, we all do have our own preferences. I like listening to different types of music, yet I have my prefernces too. Thank you.

There is a lot of different styles of music out there from different countries, and nationalities, and it can be quite interesting. There are some that really move on you and some that make you go what??? But either way it can be interesting to explore what is out there. For me I enjoy listening to some of the wonderful Scottish music that is out there, and could listen to it for hrs.

Music of one country may be similar to that of another country, but there is always the unique features in it. That very much makes the music beautiful and enjoyable. Music of your country must be very enjoyable too, I am sure.

music is universal language. it doesn't matter where you come from or who you are, music unite us all. when you listen to another music in another country, as long as the music is good and beautiful you can feel what the song is tell you about. by the note you can feel the song is happy or sad. so it doesn't matter because music unite us all.

That is very wellsaid. I fully agree with you. Music certainly brings us altogether. We can all enjoy together, regardless of whether we understand the words. I do not speak Chinese, and do not understand even a single word. But, I very much like listening to Chinese songs and music !
