Do you always get phone calls during lunch or dinner?

It never fails today I finally sat down to eat my lunch. I had been waiting all day to eat this yummy chicken salad all day but had so much to do. So I sit down take my first bite and right at that moment the phone rings. This seems to happen nightly at dinner time too. Does this happen to you too?

I know it's not their fault but..after you pick the thing up you just want to..."Hey!! - Can't you tell I'm having dinner here!!!??"

That must have been a nice silence. Unfortunately we don't have any caller ID and our answering machine is not working and I am afraid if I don't answer it I might miss something important.

Yep, every day, either one or both and every time it is my husband, he never fails.I mean just because he isn't here to eat, why call me, knowing I am probably either getting ready to or already eating??Very frustrating..:(

I don't really have that problem, only once in a while when I go out to eat someone won't stop texting me. I don't really believe in texting while dining out with the family, or eating dinner at the kitchen table, so that annoys me a lot. Most the time I just ignore that text them quickly 'Eating, be right back.' and they'll stop texting me. :D

It doesn't happen to me too often. But when I was a kid my daddy would not let me make calls during certain times of the day because it was meal time. If my friends called between 5 and 6 pm he would tell them that it was not appropriate. I don't think families have meals together as much any more..

Good evenin g dear Ladym33 , ohhh it seems that we kind of are on the same time on Mylot , well , what cann i say , it used to happen , that i get phone calls almost every twenty minutes , not phones calls but lots of text messages , and these were every ten minutes , since i was all the time chatting with friend , but this used to happen like five years ago before i mooved in Blegium , i used to have a really huuge large chain of friends , because i used to live in the capital of Roumania more exactly at Bucharest , and ever since i was eight years old , i had started to go and walk on almost all the town , by the time i reached my fifteen years old i already had seen trhee quarters of the Bucharest and had verry much friends on the most of the neighborhoods that i had visited , the reason been that i used to mooved like six times too , from Five different neighborhoods from bucharest , but i cann tell you that before i mooved in Belgium , at my leaving Party i had more then two hundred and fifty persons , and i rented a sporting gim class from my ex-school , and i cann tell you that we barely managed to get inside the all friends that i had. Now here in Belgium , if i get a instant text message once a day it is really something , an exception , i cann say that i really have a low number of friends , and even soo , i dont really like them , neither i dont like the way they party , they are way too cold , and they are not open minded like my older friends. Lucky i'm having my cousin here and the whole familly , and that i get to visit every two times on the year Roumania , but only staying three to six weeks. Aniway now i'd like to wish you a great evening and a even more better day tommorow Florin
