Just a Bit Confused

This is probably a stupid question but I am going to ask anyway! Haha. What on earth do those little stars next to some peoples name mean? I thought that they were for how many posts you had made, example if you made 100 posts you would get a 1 star and so on. But I just got to a hundred posts and I have an 8 star? I'm just a little curious as to what it meant. I searched around on MyLot but maybe I'm blind and didn't find the information. Haha. Any light shed on this would be really appreciated! Thanks, MyLotters! :)

You were asking about the ratings. Well each time you comment and or create a discussion there is the + or - sign that members use to rate your discussion and or comement. That is if they remember. This soley based on the persons point of view of how they rate your comment and or post.
