What if any are you going to do this halloween? Do you dress up and go to town with your kids or dress up to hand out candy? Me I always enjoy dressing up and driving the kids around, I live in the country so not alot of candy to hand out..Am just wondering if you enjoy the holiday or just another day for you? I always try to get the kids to go to as many events on halloween to me it is a interesting and full of imagination which all of us need ...

I will be living in a new neighborhood this holloween. I don't know if they trick or treat or not. So,if I can I will buy a small amount of candy to give away. I don't want to buy alot and end up stuck with it and having my sweet tooth eating it all up. I will not be able to just toss it in the trash. I love chocolate too. I am hoping I can get my daughter a costume from the salvation army and if so I will let her walk around town. That is if she knows anyone by this time it will still be early for her to have made a friend. I hope the kids come knocking on the door. I will put my business card in all of my candy bags too. This way I can get some out. I may even walk around giving out my catalogs that night. Who knows...

well when I can't get a costume I usually just let them go as hobo's or a creative ghost those are always fun...yes being new on halloween is interesting but most of the schools and town counsel has places for kids to come and trick or treat, we had two hotels this past year decorate the rooms and let all the kids go in and get candy, it was outstanding.

I am so excited for Halloween! :) I have no idea what I'm dressing up as, but I'm thinking Sylvia Plath or the MadHatter, Johnny Depp version... I know, I know! Two COMPLETELY different things, haha! Normally I will attend some Halloween party or something but this year... I am thinking of throwing one myself! I think that would be A LOT of fun!... just have to make sure that everyone who lives with me is up to it, hahaha!

sounds interesting I think my 16 year old is going as harry potter or something like that, should be interesting with what she comes with. I enjoy letting them pick out who and what they want to wear gives them a chance to expand there imaginations.

Going as Harry Potter would be awesome! Haha. And yeah, I agree. Halloween really is a time to let your imagination run wild and do what you will with it :)

The three area schools get the kids to wear their costumes on the day closest to hallowe'en (Friday this year) and parade down one side and up the other of the area commercial strip. The BIA foots the bill for treats handed out at two locations, one of which is the policing centre where I volunteer. So I usually go down there and help hand out treats.

That is so awesome I think every town and school should offer a place for kids to do that. I am looking forward to see what our town is up to this year, they are even setting up a haunted house with policing.
