I have a fabric bag filled with grain of some kind and sewed shut. When I get a migraine headache and can't or don't want to take pills for it I heat the bag up in the microwave for 2-3 minutes and lay down with the heated bag over my eyes. It really helps ease the pain and lets me get to sleep.

Try taking bengay (or similar like deep heat, icyhot) and rubbing it on your temples, forehead and the back of your neck. I find this can really help with a headache. I use this a lot to try and avoid taking pills or other medication.

When you are having a regular headache, you should no ttake it lightly. I had this experience and one of my friend adviced me to see doctor but i was given pill which was just for temporary cure. At last another friend asked me to see eyes doctor and found out that one of my eyes has short sighted and it made me headache. I never realized this and at last i managed to cure my headache.

A lot of times hydrating yourself works. Drink plenty of water, lie down with an icepack on your head and rest. this should help.

I guess enough sleep, fresh air, excercise and right nutrition should help. I used to have headace rather often before I started with the food supplements I take now. You find more info in my profile. I think one thing that is important is to get enough of calcium and magnesium together with the oils and vitamines. Stretching is good too, especially your arms and shoulders so that the muscles get enough of blood flow and oxygen.
