With the development of information technology and reduce price of communication products, the mobile phone become a necessity for most people. But, have you noticed sometimes the mobile phone also brings embarrassment to us? It's not rare to see someone pressing the mobile phone to his ear and shouting loudly in public as if there were no one else present. And I'm sure each one has had such an experience that the mobile phone ring continuously on a formal occasion. So I think we should shut off our cell phone in some public, especially on a quiet and serious occasion. It's a respect for both others and ourselves. What's your opinions on this question?

Yeah I agree, sometimes People's mobile phones go off in the classroom while we have a lesson and it's incredibly annoying for me when I'm trying to figure out how many moles of hydrogen was produced by a chemical reaction lol... However I am not like that I always have my phone on vibration during lessons and other formal occasions. I will not raise my voice in public because I am outside as actually I'm too embarrassed people will find it irritating. I mainly use my phone to text and that is fine with me and doesn't cause a nuisance to other people.

At least they should excuse themselves when they take their call especially in movie theaters. I hate it when people don't put their phones in silent mode while in the theater and worst when they answer it without bothering to go to a place where no movie goers can easily hear them.

I think it is considerate not to let your mobile phone ring in public. But you don't have to turn off your mobile phone. It is good enough to set it as the mute mode. It won't be bothering others and you can also receive your SMS and calls. I love China
