i used to bite my nails. i bit them til i was almost 19 which will be coming up soon. i just started taking a multi vitamin and it has helped strengthen them a lot so now i dont want to bite them.

I don't do it now but when I was a child up to my late teenage years I did bite my nails and seldom had to use a nailclipper. Now, I keep it short and it is easier to keep them clean and doesn't make irritating sounds when I play on the piano.

i never have bitten my nails .. but i do bite off the flesh around it .. when it starts to climb over my nails

Yes I bite my nails as well. I have ever since I was little and I just can not stop. I have tried this no-bite polish stuff as well, but even that doesn't work. I bite it, taste the bad stuff, and just keep biting. I want to stop, but I just can't. If anyone knows a remedy or something to make someone stop biting their nails, please let me know ASAP!

I do not bite my nails nor have I ever did it but I have this thing about dirty nails so I cut mine very short. I just feel that if they are short you can never get dirt under the nails (which I hate to see). So because of this I get accused of it and no one believes me when I tell them that I do not bite my nails.

That is one habit i am happy to say, i have never had, however i do know people that do.
