I Caught the Bouquet, OMGOSH

aS MANY OF U SAW ME TALKING ABOUT MY FRIENDS THAT LIVE NEXT DOOR TO ME were getting married Sunday. It was such a sweet wedding, was very impressed & i don't impress easily.
. Everything was so pretty & i am so proud for them. After they said their 'i do's' she ask if it was time to toss her bouquet. She threw it directly into my hands, the stinker. Everybody got a big laugh out of it, i did to. She was sooo proud of herself.lol. have u caught a bouquet lately?? It was my first time & i'm sure it will be my last.Don't make any plans to be getting ready for another wedding, that 'ain't' gonna' happen.

Wow! Congratulations. I have caught a wedding bouquet for many times. It is a belief that once you catch a wedding bouquet, you will be the next bride. However, I disagree with that belief. I am not yet married and far to have plans to get marry.

I caught the bouquet in July at a friends wedding. It landed on my feet so every one said that meant I caught it. I'm kinda hoping it means I'll at least get a boyfriend soon even if I don't get married soon. Lol.

I love a good wedding, lately they seem to make me cry.
I have been to many weddings, but because I have been married for so long, I have not been to one when I was not married, so have never participated in the bouquet toss. I think that is cool that you caught it, I hope it made you feel special.

Thanks for responding. I didn't know i was participating in this one, lol. It did make me feel special but there was no doubt how deliberate she was. We all got a big kick out of it. She knows that i don't think much of marriage because i had a really bad one.

Don't u & gissi hold your breath waiting for the invite.lol. Would hate to see u keel over.I went to the dr. yesterday. My arthritus is just alot worse & ther is nothing they can do about that he said. I have copd & he was quite concerned w/the scarring on my lungs. He gave me an antibioctic for my lungs & a different inhaler from what i had. My lad work was pretty good. I ask him if i was going to get where i couldn't walk at all & he said not today. He offered to send home health nurses out but i told him i wasn't ready for that. I always do all my shopping at one time[grocery & wal-mart] but he told me to quit doing it all at one time. I had decided that myself when i went mon., a week ago. I have a really hard time getting things in the house & i knew that i had about done myself in. Thanks for asking, u are a sweetie.

Weddings are fun and so special to go to.

Maggie and I were at a friend's wedding and we got pushed to the front of the crowd, I guess they thought we wanted to get married. I flat told them that if she threw it right at me, I'd let it hit me and fall, I was THAT uninterested in getting married, happily that didn't happen...

Sunday as in the 26th? That was mine and my husband's first year anniversary. I am glad you had a good time at the wedding. Other then my own wedding, I'd only ever been to my cousin's though I have a vague memory of maybe being in another wedding when I was younger, I've never asked.

HA, HA, VERY FUNNY, YOUNG MAN.No, there will be no wedding for me. Been there done that twice & it was a disaster, lol. U go & have a real big time. The man is suppose to catch the garter according to our traditions. Good luck & thank u for your cute response.

LOL That had to be funny to see your face when you caught the bouquet!! lol Oh the memories you'll have to cherish! I'm glad to hear they got married, they've been together long enough so why not, right? Now hopefully he can get well so they'll have many years together. that was really funny. she did throw it directly into your hands.that was nice of her to do so. though it shores not mean you have any plans of getting married soon also.a lot of people getting married too in my relatives. mostly because they are not getting younger and they want to settle down before they get even older. as we all know time flies.
