Are you an angry individual? Did you find yourself unable to control your angry outburst regardless of your resolve? I have been dealing with anger outburst lately. I tried many options just to stay calm but every time i saw this person I wanted to hit him :(

Anger is one of the most common and destructive delusions, and it afflicts our mind almost everyday. to solve the problems of anger we first need to recognize the anger within our mind, acknowledge how it harms both our self and others, and appreciate the benefits of being patient in the face of difficulties. We then need to apply practical methods in our daily life to reduce an anger and finally to prevent it from arising at all.

I don't know any trick to avoid an anger outburst, but I can tell you how I calm myself down when this happen to me. I fill the sink with cold water and I sink my forearms in it. I keep my hands sunken in the cold water for few minutes. Sometimes, to help me calm down faster, I count up and down while my hands are sunken. I heared many people find this method successfull, but I can talk only for myself. I think this method works miracles for me.

I used to get angry very often. Then I start noticing that, it does more harm than resolving the matter. People find you arrogant, slowly they will start avoiding you(even your close friends) In a recent survey it showed that, "The people who get angry more often are more prone to heart & hypertension problem then the people who stay calm". Now whenever I get angry, I will count 10 to 1, drink water or leave the situation as its.

Hi jack, I have noticed that also that's one reason why i tried so hard not to show my anger towards this person. But there are times that i cant and i shouted at him. And I agree with you about this hypertension problem. I guess i;m having it. I'll try the counting method hope this will work for me. Thanks
