What's your attitude like when you go to work?

I feel like 75% of how good of your experiences in your life are, are correlating to the attitude and positivity and outlook you have for things. INCLUDING work! When you are in a better mood, doesn't it just seem like time flies by so much faster, you have more fun, and just in general feel better about yourself and do a better job at what you do? Even though it's been slightly stressful with the new-ish job, I'm trying to keep a positive attitude. And so far it's been working well! I've been chit-chatting more with customers, and been having a good time with new co-workers. Of course, someone could always spoil my mood, but so far no one has! There are people who go to work, however, dragging their feet (OK - I can be like this sometimes, I can't lie!). Do you try to have a positive attitude at work? Or are you one of those Negative Nancy's?

that reminds me of when i used to work for this small motel, cleaning, and id show up in the morning with a smile on my face and joking around with the girls and this just seemed to have a bad attitude for the other gals. they would say, what the heck you so happy about? we are going to work our butts off today! the only thing i could figure was at that time id just gotten out of a bad relationship and had no man at home dragging me down and thats what id tell them...lol. wish i was still working or able to. id probably be like that again. now i get up and dont want to talk to anyone for a while till i get pain pills down.

Awww that's too bad. I mean working can be stressful and all that... But at the same time - a job is a job! And in my opinion, you should be happy that you have it and you have some sort of income. You know? Because there are people who just totally take that simple fact for granted!

Not Nancy, but Negative Ned maybe. This is so true. I think we spend most of our days at work, so whatever attitude we have at our jobs correlate with out attitude in life. That's why I think we should get jobs that we would be happy about. I've trying, yet I am still stuck here where I am at.

When I go to work I try to stay positive. I'm usually excitedly happy to be there. I'm especially happy to see my coworkers.

Good day to you Maezee, With respect to your main question, I have experienced a lot of changed in my attitude towards my work. There are times, when I waked-up in the wrong side of the bed, I feel like, I am already tired though I have not yet started the days office activity. Wherein, the feeling of tiredness starts to get into my nerves. For this reason, the moment I arrived at the office, I already feel tired. On the other hand, there are times, I waked-up in a fine mood. Though, its not that easy to wake up early, I really feel fine packing up things and looking forward to do my office task. However, although I was in a good mood, there are some people who are born to ruin others day. Like, I remember one time, when I greeted someone a good morning then she greeted me back bad morning.

I used to have a good working attitude at an early stages of work. But as days and years passed, I lost my good working attitude as some workmates are beginning to be a pain in the you know where, and some female co workers are beginning to be such kiss @$$ biatches. Good thing I am already outta that hell!Boss is such an @- hole, by really making up stuffs to make you look bad. I was one of his victim. He schemed something to get me out of job. So, I lost my interest in organizing the team's department. Slowly, I lost my whole interest in going to the office. I feel degraded, humiliated etc.. My boss would make his subordinate feel bad about themselves. So, before I loose my self worth and self confidence I resigned from the company.

I'm workaholic. I'd like to work. That is me. My attitude to work is that I look always to the positive side and purpose. Some may think that going to work is so tireful and stressful.I'm thinking work as my regular hobby, something that I enjoy to do so, and I take pleasure and enjoy everytime I work. I really love to work than doing nothing. And that is beacuse I'm workaholic.

I used to drag myself to work every morning. But ever since I found out a way to work at home (working online), I am loving it everyday. Working at home means I don't have to get up early morning everyday, travel / commute to and from the office, deal with people i don't like, and many more.

Hi, maezee. I am out of work as of now since I just recenlty resigned. But I try to keep a low profile in work and I try to be friendly to everyone. I think it's important to build a good communication with our co workers and customers or else, it will be toxic. Hopefully I could get a new job soon. And it's already October.

I find that when I start a new job, the first few weeks I am extremely cheerful and excited. But after those first few weeks, that cheerfulness fades and I can get moody. I have noticed that better quality works gets done when I'm in a good mood.

Well I don't have a job yet, but I don't know if my attitude would always be a positive one I think that I would have those days when I am feeling negative and I don't really want to be there so much. For me right now though I do want a job so that I could make some money, but if I were to work at home I would be so happy like all the time because I could make my earnings from home and never really have to leave home and I could just work in my pajamas and that would be so cool. I am just day dreaming about that. Hopefully that will happen one day, but I don't think that will happen any time soon, but I am still hoping that in the near future I will complete my goal.

I totally agree with you maezee. Whatever we are made of would always show through in our words and deeds be it something positive or otherwise negative. We can't run from the fact too that sometimes it's hard to keep upright when things keep dragging us down. But I believe we should be heading for something positive as long as we choose to be one. The opposite is also true.

I need to act positively or else they will fire me. My work is our bread and butter that is why I am trying my best to do well to all assigned works to me. Every semester, our performance is graded, so I need to behave properly or else I will not be receiving my productivity pay.

Well I try to have a positive attitute whe i go to work.I think that this is the only way that i will be able to get through the day without being in a bad mood and it helps make the time go by while i am at work. When i am working i usually think of all the fun stuff i will be able to do when i get of my shift and this really helps get through a busy day where if you had a bad attitute going into work would certainaly make the time spent there slowly creep by,so that is why i keep a positive though about in my head.
