I wassetting out on the front step lastnight with my daughter and we watched this beautiful sunset of pink and purple. When was the last time you took the time to just set and watch the sun set or rise?

You sit; the sun sets. People don't set, they sit. You wanted correct English on Mylot. You are raising a grandchild. If you help him with an English paper and he talks like Grandma, he'll get that wrong. For future reference. You're also messing up translating software for people from other countries. Anyway, when our Mall was first built, the builders had cleared land as far as you could see to the west. I went out one night and watched the sun set. I imagine it would be beautiful like that out west. We have so many trees in so many directions that unless we go to a beach, we don't have unobstructed views of sunrises or sunsets.

I think we tend to take them for granted.

I was just thinking about this the other day. My friend was talking to me about her and her new husband riding to the top of a bluff here and watching the sunset. I thought to myself how wonderful that would be and thought...hmm...when was the last time? Being on the morning shift has really nipped that sunset thing in the bud. Sunrise too. Because I have to be at work before that happens. I did see a bit of sunset the other night when I took my daughter out to dinner for her birthday. It wasn't the going to see the sunset thing though. Makes me think I need to slow down a little bit and enjoy stuff.

Sunrise, I watch everyday because the window of my room is in the east. Watching Sunset is rare as I would still be working.

No sunset? Why that is almost a crime. I watch the sun come out some days too. Two of them and a sunrise before I go to sleep again. Ugh!

It's actually been a while since I've watched a sunset. I do enjoy watching sunsets, but unfortunately I don't really get the chance to watch sunsets very often.

This sounds so beautiful! It's been a long time since I've done this! I don't have a front porch, I hate to say. I do have a patio, though, and I could sit out there and watch it sometime. I don't think I'll be doing it until next spring or summer, though, since winter is on it's way. As far as watching the sun rise, I used to wake up every morning in the summer at 6:00 and go horseback riding. I would get to see the sunrise then and it was so beautiful!

I've done a lot of riding in the sunset, too, lol! Seriously, I'm usually about to quit riding when the sun starts setting.

Also yesterday, as a matter of fact. I was on the beach by the time of the sunset, and it was really beautiful. I love sunsets!

I live in a metropolitan city, my appartment is surrounded with all the tall structures. It's quite a time that, I had watched a sunset, Forget about sunrise(may be its been years). I go to bed late in the night by the time I woke up the sunrise would have long gone. Need to go for a vacation someplace away from the city to watch them.

How were the sunsets in Italy? I live in a valley with mountains to one side and the sunsets are lovely.
